Just beautiful

We stayed at Il Pigno over Easter. The rooms are very large and the whole hotel is decorated with a lot of love. Breakfast was delicious with homemade bread and cake and the mandarin jam was unbeatable. Laura is just a very warm hostess and always had helpful tips ready for us. The only downer was that the pool was not yet open. However, we felt comfortable at all times and will definitely come back.

Perfect weekend

We stayed in this splendid relais... what can I say, the owner Laura is super friendly and welcoming, a very beautiful and refined structure, you will certainly find attention to detail, a family welcome and a fairytale location just a stone's throw from everything... Lazise, Verona , Bardolino, Valpolicella etc.. we will definitely return to try the swimming pool surrounded by greenery..

Undoubted courtesy but essential maintenance

I chose the place through web search; I read about all the advantages and the size of the rooms, availability, kindness and friendliness of the managers / owners (true thing) and..... I booked.
Well, on arrival the effect is WOW and everything that is indicated on the relais site (strategically located) is actually there. What is missing, going a little deeper, is the attention to detail. For example, with regard to the rooms - which are really spacious, bright and tasteful - the paints are evidently "home made". I don't include photos but I have several. They are also treated home made all the wooden parts of the ceiling that in some places are two-tone furniture -strictly white- are painted with a brush but also these roughly. The bed, is king but with short sheets / changed only once at the end of the stay).
Being in Italy I expected the bidet in the bathroom, but unfortunately... there is not.
Towels are changed on request and the cleanliness, alas, is not at the top as I read on other reviews. Moving outside: greenery at will (to be taken care of a little more ') many spaces for relaxation and aperitif, bbq space (in preparation) and lovely and reserved outdoor pool space. Very nice area breakfasts / lunches / dinners but is to be taken care of more. The parking is spacious and something for which I thank the dogs are welcome without any supplement.
Also among the facilities present : a fridge in the room working well, hairdryer, coffee maker, tea kettle and flat screen TV (small)
All that said the place has great potential and the rates could be adjusted.

Ein toller Urlaub in Italien

Nach einer langen Anreise wurde ich total nett empfangen. Eine kalte Flasche Wasser war sofort bereit gestellt. Mein Gepäck wurde selbstverständlich in mein Zimmer gebracht. Das Abendessen war vorzüglich und das Personal wunderbar. Erst am nächsten Tag habe ich gesehen, wo ich da eigentlich gelandet bin. Ein wunderschönes Anwesen mit kleinen versteckten Sitzgelegenheiten, ein toller Pool (der nicht öffentlich ist, obwohl dies in einer Bewertung mal angegeben wurde)inmitten von Olivenbäumen. Jedes Abendessen war aussergewöhnlich gut, der Wein perfekt und Julia und ihre Mitarbeiter waren einfach zauberhaft. Der eine oder andere Gast beim Abendessen war etwas "drüber", aber über das konnte ich leicht hinwegsehen. Auch das Frühstück war üppig - für jeden etwas zu finden. Mein Fazit: Der perfekte Urlsub auch für Alleinreisende. Ich werde wiederkommen.

Super Essen, tolle Location!

Vor 2 Jahren haben wir eine Visitenkarte vom Il Pigno bekommen, heute haben es endlich geschafft und dort gegessen. Die Chefin hat uns das ganze Anwesen, auch die Zimmer gezeigt. Dann haben wir uns unser Essen von einer kleinen handgeschriebenen Tafel ausgewählt. Hausgemachte Pasta, einmal mit Kürbis und einmal mit Salsiccia, dazu gemischten Salat von Hand frisch geschnitten. Dazu hausgebackenes Brot. Alles schmeckte absolut super.
