treasure in yogya

Very cozy place, far from the crowded 4 and 5 star hotels but just as good. Personal and friendly service and very, very clean. Simple tasty breakfast served at your room terrace or in the restaurant.
I experienced a small problem with a broken room key but at the end satisfactory solved.
Nice and extremely clean swimming pool.
We occupied a VIP room; some more power sockets (unplug the TV first before you can charge your mobile devices) and a water kettle to make coffee should be nice.....

Great ratio - Price to (localization, standard, look)

Food is quite average, but room was clean (except bathroom where some minor upgrades would be welcomed) A/C works fine, Pool was perfect for me & wife. From our hotel we could easily went to fine restaurants, Kraton, and even reach Malioboro (but on way back we used busses) . You could easily spend one day in hotel for relax and other 5 for sighseeing. And that was exacly what we wanted. Breakfest on the porch or by the pool. Sun, talkative owner.
Pool was cleaned every day, so as rooms. Like everywhere in indonesia we got some ants here and there.

Good for short stay

rooms are fine, ac worked but noisy, bathroom was very basic and not that clean- pool looked good but was not working the days we were there which was disappointing and as we only booked the night before we felt we should have been told that. Staff were friendly and helpful -breakfast basic Indo/Western -free coffee as much as you can drink with breakfast! Location is fine -use the local becaks to get anywhere for only a small amount.

Below average room but above average common areas and pool

The room itself was ok. We had a standard twin fan only (temperature was comfortable despite no A/C). It was clean and basic, but lots of vents to outside - I had to sleep with bug spray because I got bitten a lot the first night...! They should either supply mosquito nets or screen all openings to outside. On the positive side: great private veranda, nice pool and lounge chairs surrounded by tropical well maintained garden.
The breakfast was average (ex: egg with toast, pancake, muesli, nasi goreng) but tended to be on the salty side. Coffee was not good. We had lunch and dinner there as well - the Indonesian food we had was good.

Great hotel

Been here for one night, with only $25 you will get 4 star hotel and even better with cottage room and clean swimming pools. The break fast were served in particular portion, with western and eastern options.
