Great Stay in Nusa Penida

I liked the location. our villas were facing towards the East and we were blessed with a spectacular sunrise every morning. I’ve seen sunrises over the horizon but from behind a mountain range is another story.
I would like to highlight one staff, Ditak from reception made our stay and trip so much easier for us. we needed to go to Kelingkling beach and he got us a motorbike for rent and also got some locals to take my girlfriends friend with us. The local boys were nice and made the trip to the beach fun.
Furthermore, Ditak was very helpful with advice on best places to visit and he was always attentive and initiative.
Overall, all staff were very nice. Even the waitresses at the restaurant. They were very respectful towards me and addressed me in a very polite manner. I work at a luxury hotel in the maldives and being on the receiving end of great service changes your perspective.
Speaking of the restaurant, the vanilla milkshake is to die for. I don’t know what they put in it but we loved it haha.
For the departure back to Bali, the hotel took care of everything. so I did not need to worry about ferry seats or or a getting an expensive taxi back to the harbor.

Terrible stay in Nusa Penidia

I had a very disappointing stay at Ocean Blue Terrace Hotel in Nusa Penida. The rooms are poorly maintained — the basin pipe was leaking and the bed was so unstable it shook with the slightest movement. For a place that charges resort-like prices, the basic upkeep is just not there.
On top of that, the service was terrible. They don’t offer room service, won’t serve you a beer by the pool, and the staff were surprisingly rude and unhelpful whenever I asked for assistance. It felt like they just didn’t care about guests having a good experience.
Overall, this was one of the worst stays I’ve had in Bali. Definitely not worth the money — I’d recommend looking elsewhere if you want a comfortable and welcoming stay in Nusa Penida.

BEWARE // Scam

BEWARE! This hotel is a textbook example of fraudulent advertising. I booked my stay 6 months in advance at a confirmed rate, only to be told on check-in day that the price had "changed" and I had to pay far more than my original reservation. This is a scam plain and simple.
- False Promises: The hotel lures guests with low rates, then hikes prices last-minute when you have no alternatives.
- No Integrity:Refused to honor my booked rate, forcing me to either scramble for another hotel.
- Shady Practices: Clearly preys on travelers who can’t cancel last-minute. Misleadling advertising at its worst.
DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE.I’ve reported them to Booking.com for deceptive pricing, and I urge you to avoid at all costs. Any establishment that cheats customers deserves to be shut down.

Definitely not a 5 star.

The hotel doesn't provide conditioner or body lotion in the rooms. It's supposed to be a 5 star hotel and I've always found them in 5 star hotels. We also had injuries and in the hotel they weren't able to provide us any basic bandage or disinfectant. At least there should be a basic medical kit for the clients. It also doesn't look like the pictures, there are no tables by the pool and there are literally only 2 beds by the pool and no other space to sunbath. The drinks from the bar were full of water and cheap quality.
The employees are kind tho.
