Extraordinary experience

This retreat was truly a blessing in every sense of the word. From the moment I arrived, I felt a deep sense of peace, care, and intentionality in every detail. This is a wonderful place to relax, get the best spa treatments, and be totally pampered. Beautiful place, excellent food and terrific staff. So beautiful and quiet but plenty to do here. So glad I chose Five Elements for my landing in Bali.

A Perfect Week of Relaxation and Plant-Based Excellence

We had the best time during our week-long stay at Fiveelements! It is a stunning, peaceful oasis just 20 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, just perfect for anyone looking to unwind. We stayed in one of their signature villas with its private pool, which was absolutely exceptional. One of our favorite parts was the hotel's sustainable approach, using their own homegrown produce for everything from the teas to the spa treatments. Also, being a vegan couple, we were blown away by the quality of the plant-based food. The staff were also extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. Getting into town was a breeze too, as transport was always easy to arrange. A truely perfect stay and we’ll definitely be back!

Quite honestly the best place I have ever stayed at

I rarely take time to write detailed reviews but this place was quite honestly the best place I have ever stayed at.
From the moment I arrived I knew I had made the right decision. The staff were attentive and made me feel welcome from the start (even if it was 11pm at night and I was half asleep).
The room itself was a dream! From the giant super king size bed to the tranquil location - I felt completely at peace. With no distractions and little noise apart from nature surrounding the room, I was able to fully switch off. The outdoor shower and bathtub was simply sublime and really added to the rustic feel of the retreat. The housekeeping staff were attentive and beyond friendly, cleaning the room in the morning and then refreshing in the evening.
I treated myself to a facial at the spa which was incredible. Although slightly on the pricier side (similar to western prices) it was definitely worth it. It was held in a hut surrounded by nature with 100% natural products and a very knowledgeable facialist.
Now the food is what I am most excited to write about and I would return just for the exquisite meals that are served. The breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, smoothies, homemade bread, jam and spreads as well as a rotating main menu. I tried vegan shakshuka, amazing porridge bowls and crepes. The dinner also had a rotating menu which meant that there was always something different to try and always using fresh ingredients.
The staff were also what made my stay so memorable. I was fortunate to go on a tour of the local village and our lovely guide who works at the resort and also lives in the village shared stories about local life and information about the culture.
I took a grab motorbike into Ubud twice during my stay which was great to explore the local area and was only approximately 15 minutes away.
I could continue writing about Fivelements forever but can honestly say you need to experience this place for yourself and fully switch off from the outside world. I decided to turn my phone off for the most part of my stay which provided even more of a memorable experience, allowing me to fully appreciate the beauty.
The only negative is that I fear I will constantly be comparing every hotel I stay in to the standard of Fivelements and now in Uluwatu I already want to leave and return to Fivelements.
