We stayed at Hotel New Broadway, Varanasi from 6th July to 9th July, and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Our room was spacious, and the amenities provided made our stay enjoyable.
The staff were polite, cooperative, and always ready to assist with any requests. Their warm hospitality and prompt service made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
The hotel’s location was convenient for visiting the major attractions in Varanasi, making it a good choice for both pilgrims and tourists.
Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would gladly recommend Hotel New Broadway to anyone visiting Varanasi and would be happy to stay here again in the future.

New Broadway Hotel Varanasi
Switched rooms 3 times in 3 days. Upon arrival received room on noisy front street side of the hotel. Was given another room in the back of the hotel which was quiet. But the shower of this room (#203) on third floor had no pressure. So the following day switched rooms again, now on the first floor (#102) but when arrived back in the evening after the fire ceremony the airconditioning was not cooling all night. Did not want to pack suitcases and decided to stay in the room for the night. I had dinner twice in the hotel and had the best butter chicken in my life. Also the staff is very hospitable

Central, clean and convenient
Nice hotel centrally located and convenient to Assi Ghat and others. Nice in house restaurant with decent breakfast buffet as well as dinner and lunch options. Comfortable room, but as other reviewers have mentioned, traffic noise can be an issue if you are on the front side of the hotel, as we were.

Substandard stay
Definately not 4 star more like 1 star.
Dirty bedding and old dirty towels
Could not see through the windows,so opened windows and discovered a/c unit outside window, complete with bird nest and dead bird and eggs at the back of it, and years of bird droppings on the window sill. It was absolutely disgusting. Phones were not working to ring room service, had to go down to restaurant to order. They took over 45 minutes to bring the meal, despite me reminding them
TV remote was broken and taped together
There was no minibar, and little choice at breakfast.
I was hassled by certain staff for tips, and I will tip for good service if I get it
