Perfect Hotel!
We stayed 3 days in 2025 and with my elder sister & hubby, stayed 5 & 10 days this January 2026.
The hotel is beautiful, small and perfectly formed! It is family run and managed, I think both parents, daughter & son are all active in its operation, either in the hotel side or, in the excellent coffee shop /cafe that has THE BEST cakes! It has about 24 rooms, we have stayed in a family room, a twin and a double, all are excellent. Double/twin beds, sofa bed, small tv, fridge, kettle (plus tea & coffee), wardrobe, everything you need. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the shower very good. Very hot water, but water pressure drops a little at times.
There is a lovely pool, with comfortable sunbeds. We never had an issue getting a sunbed, even though on each visit, the hotel was fully occupied, but like everywhere, some people do insist on securing their spot! Frustrating and selfish, but hey-ho! The pool is spotlessly clean, as is every corner of the hotel and grounds. Cleanliness is 2nd to none here, even down to the balcony balustrade being washed every day. The ladies who maintain it, are friendly and chatty and work exceptionally hard, it shows how they are respected and valued by the owners as some have been employed for many years!
Location wise, I personally think it's the best! 5 minutes walk to the beach and all it's shacks. The beach is nice and clean, especially to the left side, away from the watersports area. Our favourite shacks where Silverspoon and Pinacolada, both having friendly staff, good drinks and excellent food! The town area, 1 minute walk from hotel. Bars, restaurants, shops etc, everything you need. The Garden, Red Ginger (10% off for guests!) And Rooftop bar were all excellent places! We visited Red Ginger 3 times and the other 2 twice during our 5 night stay, the food is outstanding! Colva is relatively easy to walk around, it's not overly busy compared to some Goan areas, but, be aware of your footing, my sister toppled over and badly grazed her leg and arm.
On the whole, I see no reason not to stay at Skylark resort each time we come to Colva, I cannot imagine another place being better!

Paradise Place
I really asked for the number to be like the picture. Our expectations were met, we were given 24. It's so nice to be on the property, we even used the pool a couple of times. It's very clean, beautiful and thoughtful.
Comfortable new mattress, delicious Twinings tea, bottled water, coffee instant, cream/sugar. Indian-scented soap in the shower.
A perfectly freezing refrigerator, even when leaving and turning off the lights it does not thaw.
Nice wi-fi signal, there was a router on the balcony above us. But the signal never reached the bathroom.
I would like a dryer or a device on the balcony to dry swimwear and towels, so as not to hang on the balcony railing.
Mosquito net on the window, we don't use konder and end up feeding the mosquitoes. The fumigator doesn't work on them. Update the laundry a little washed.
Do a wet cleaning of the floors, not just sweeping the room.
Then it will be a deluxe hotel, and realizing that it's only a 2*, it's just chic and such little things don't affect the overall experience.
We'll definitely be back here.

Wonderful location, wonderful facilities
Wow! This place is amazing. Gorgeous grounds, brilliant swimming pool, everything very clean and everyone very helpful. Had the best, most organised book swap I’ve ever seen. An oasis in a fantastic location near Colva beach.

Fabulous Hotel and Pool
Fabulous hotel with great pool. A little oasis in a mad surrounding. Lovely staff especially the couple running the on-site cafe. Lovely breakfast and lunch. Towels provided for pool. Free safe in room. Pool table and library free to use. Everywhere very clean

This place is absolutely amazing the pool area is spotless clean the views from pool area are amazing everyone is so friendly, there's a small Cafe on site serving food and drinks but limited opening times. The rooms are amazing comft beds and pillows loved my bed so comfy
Close to shops and beach only one thing let's hotel down is no pool bar once café shuts at 4 can't get a drink
