Perfect family gateway in lucknow

Had a wonderful stay with my family at Renaissance Lucknow! The food was absolutely delicious and every meal felt fresh and flavorful. The service was warm, polite, and very attentive throughout our stay. We were also pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which made our experience even more comfortable and special. Overall, a lovely stay with great hospitality — would definitely recommend!
Special thanks to Miss Madhu who always welcome with her warm smile at restaurant and to Miss Mahima and Miss Rubaida....

The stay had a few disappointing aspects. The room had a persistent bad smell due to poor ventilation, which made it uncomfortable at times. Room service was also quite slow — even for basic requests, we had to call two or three times before receiving any assistance. This affected the overall experience and level of comfort expected during the stay.
On the positive side, the breakfast spread was excellent with a wide variety of options available each morning. The staff at the breakfast area were courteous and attentive. We also appreciated that the hotel helped us upgrade our package, which turned out to be very beneficial and added value to our stay.

Not a marriott brand

Our recent stay at Renaissance Lucknow Hotel was extremely disappointing and far below expectations for a brand like Marriott.
The experience started on a very poor note when a cupboard slider in the room literally fell off — a clear safety and maintenance issue. At the L14 restaurant, the buffet was cold, which again reflects poor service standards.
The disturbances didn’t end there. Around 1 AM, there was loud noise with people shouting, and despite informing the staff, the situation was not handled properly, making it difficult to rest.
We had specifically requested packed breakfast for four people as we were leaving early at 4 AM. Despite multiple reminders, the hotel only prepared breakfast for one person, showing a complete lack of coordination and attention to guest requests.
Room service was equally disappointing — we requested room cleaning in the morning, but it was only done after lunch, which is unacceptable.
Additionally, guests should carefully check their food bills. We ordered basic tea, but were charged extra under items like masala tea without proper clarification.
Overall, this stay was highly unsatisfactory. For a hotel under the Marriott brand, the service, responsiveness, and overall experience were far below standard. Would not recommend unless there is a significant improvement in management and service quality.
