An Oasis of Peace and Hospitality in Leh
The hotel is spotless and everything is maintained with great care. The entire complex feels like an oasis of peace. After intense days filled with monastery visits and demanding treks, it was always a relief to return “home.” The atmosphere is so pleasant that you almost wish you could live there.
What truly makes this place special is the service. The staff is always ready to help with a smile and assists you with any request. You genuinely feel cared for. The food also deserves special mention: it is prepared with love, and you can taste it. Every meal was fresh, carefully prepared, and thoughtfully presented.
If I return to Leh in the future, I would undoubtedly choose Padma Hotel again. A true recommendation for anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and warm hospitality in Ladakh.

A Beautiful Experience and Stay.
I treated myself to 3 nights in a room with a balcony and large windows looking out onto the peaceful town, with the stunning mountain range in full view.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, designed with traditional architecture, and such attention to detail found in every corner on every floor.
The rooms are spotless, bed super comfy and shower hot and strong. The hotel is conveniently situated down a quiet street, a quick walk to the main market.
But its the staff and owner who make your stay one of the very best you will ever have anywhere in the world.
I wandered in to inquire about a room and was greeted by lovely Stella at reception who assisted me with my choices and prices. I was then sitting chatting with a kind, humble man in their foyer only to find out later he was the actual owner.
I ate at the breakfast buffet in the mornings and the selection was healthy and plentiful. The fresh apricot jam on their warm home baked whole wheat bread was simply delicious.
Staff were professional and at the same time very warm and friendly. At the breakfast buffet I could see the pride on their faces, along with their chef as they stood at the serving trays assisting with my choices.
Outside the dining area I could see garden beds with fruit trees just starting to blossom. I can imagine this area must burst into life with veggie plantings and colour, lovingly attended in Spring and Summer. The whole atmosphere of the place gave the feeling of being loved and cared for, that you only truly experience in a family run business.

Very good & happy with the whole experience, Anil, Stella, Glisha, Anju & the once i am missing helped a lot to make my stay wow.
