It was very pleasant and they serve complimentary coffee also they have common dining hall with oven in coonoor its cheap compared to other cottages

Bad experience

We booked this hotel for freshening up and putting our feet up. However, when we reached the place our allotted room was not ready as the earlier occupants had gone out and not returned. We were temporarily put on a higher floor but my mother could not climb the stairs so had to sit in the lounge. Seeing our diffiult they told us to leave the room and keep the luggage in the lounge. Since we had made plans with the vehicle we left for the day's sight seeing. When we returned our luggage was sitting in the lounge and the allotted room was given to us. However, we found that the commode was clogged and we could not use the washroom. For our urgent use they showed us another Indian style toilet outside but we could not use the same. Plumbers were called to unclog the toilet and after 1 or 1.5 hours we could use the toilet. Soon after we had check out anyway!! Call it bad luck or mismanagement.
