Interesting hotel design lots of steps. A lift to part of the building
Lots to of steps around the hotel not suitable for any one with ambulatory problems. One of the rooms had an upstairs window that opened onto a drop no balcony - dangerous.
Quite a little out of town but walkable.
Strange breakfast arrangement where you ordered each item separately, the orange juice was squash.
Very obliging in taking you to anywhere as a taxi.
Towels available to take to beaches.

As Mystery Skiathos is built on a hillside, one of its unique features is the panoramic view overlooking Skiathos Town and the surrounding landscape. While this design creates beautiful vistas, it also means there are several levels throughout the property. For guests who prefer to avoid stairs, we would like to mention that a lift serves a significant part of the hotel, helping to improve accessibility and comfort.
We also take your comments regarding the room window and breakfast experience seriously. Guest safety and satisfaction are extremely important to us, and your observations help us identify areas where we can continue to improve. Regarding breakfast, our à la carte concept is designed to offer freshly prepared dishes and reduce food waste, though we understand that preferences may vary.
For future visits, we would also be delighted to welcome you to our restaurant, Savor at Mystery, where our chefs create Mediterranean-inspired dishes using fresh local ingredients, accompanied by handcrafted cocktails and a relaxing atmosphere overlooking the beautiful Skiathos landscape.

Great hotel with beautiful high ceilings in the bedrooms and modern, clean interiors. Two large pools and plenty of deckchairs available.
Location is ideal, less than a 10 minute walk to the busy area of the town but feels relatively quiet and relaxed. Katerina and her family are friendly, welcoming hosts.

Not what we were expecting!
Having read all the really good reviews on this hotel we were expecting something special for what we’d paid. The staff were lovely and really helpful.
Breakfasts were about as basic as could be possible and a bit chaotic. We chose a room with a balcony & jacuzzi as an upgrade. Balconies are not private at all with see through lattice dividers so you can be sitting in them next to other guest’s just two feet away!
The hotel had no feeling of space, everything seemed cramped. The breakfast area was part of the walkway through to the hotel rooms which became really awkward when trying to walk past tables especially with luggage when arriving or leaving the hotel.
Rooms were okay but walls were paper thin, industrial earplugs required if you’re a light sleeper!
All in all we were disappointed and would not return to this hotel.

May/June 2026 stay
Our stay at the hotel was 1st class, the location perfect for all Skiathos town has to offer.
The hotel staff were so kind & caring and a credit to the hotel.
Room was exceptionally clean and have got all the mod cons.
Breakfast was to a good standard with things cooked to order.
The only thing that was disappointing was the drinks from the bar & mini bar as these were very expensive.
Mythos beer in town 3-4 euros…..7 at the hotel.
Overall a lovely stay & would definitely stay again

Quiet, modern hotel - perfect choice!
All members of staff are super friendly, the accommodation is modern, clean and comfortable with ceiling fan and AC.
The rooms have automatic blackout blinds which enabled us to have the best sleeps ever!
The two pools were just the right size with sun-beds available
The breakfast was excellent and on the occasion we ate an evening meal the food was delicious
It is in a quiet area but only 10mins walk from the centre of town where there is an abundance of restaurants,
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mystery Hotel to anyone that visits to beautiful Skiathos
