Hidden Gem of Parga, Greece

Just wanted to say what an amazing holiday we had in the hidden gem of Parga. Hotel Ionion was amazing :) Thanks to Antonis for helping to make our stay as amazing as it was, so friendly and helpful.
The hotel is so clean and fresh, our room was equally lovely, big, clean and the views amazing. Bed was very comfortable. The pool was so very welcoming with a great view.
The only things that could be improved would be that there are not enough sunbeds for the amount of people staying in the hotel and also being charged for sunbeds on the hotel's part of the beach.
These are not big things. We will definitely be coming again and we have recommended the hotel to a few friends already :)

You get far with a little more accommodation

a little indifferent staff, strange with a strange hierarchy in the restaurant
The food in the restaurant is not very good nor is the breakfast very inspiring.
Clean nice rooms with good housekeeping every day as well as a really good balcony and a wonderful view.

Cardio trip !

Fantastic view of a lovely sea/ beach from the balcony. Very friendly staff. Good access to beach. The number of steps to/from breakfast and the rest of the facilities made this a bit of a nightmare as we are in our seventies. No lift to the rooms so heavy cases also an issue. Limited facilities in Valtos and a mountain to climb to get to Parga but the water taxi was great. We thought overall this was a bit pricey for a smallish room and outdated bathroom in a fairly isolated situation.

Stayed 11 nights — would’ve happily stayed forever

Just came back from an 11-night stay at Ionion Hotel in Parga and honestly? Already plotting how to go back.
From the minute we arrived, we felt like part of the family. The location is spot-on (close to everything but still peaceful), but the real magic here is the people. Huge shoutout to Panos, the manager — always around with a big smile and great vibes. And the absolute dream team of Matina, Michelle, Iona, and Aggelos — so friendly, funny, and just genuinely lovely humans.
But the true MVP? Rissa, our amazing housekeeper. Not only did she keep our room spotless every single day (seriously, she’s a machine), but she even brought us fresh plums from her own garden Who even does that? Heart = melted.
This place isn’t just a hotel — it’s got heart, soul, and a team that makes you feel like you belong. 11/10 would recommend. Already missing the people (and those plums).

Three days for rest

Clean hotel with very polite staff. So far, everything's fine. But you don't charge €25 per set in the first row and €20 for the rest when you charge me €300 per room. Somewhere it's ridiculous all this. Time I think the owners change a little mentality.
