Dama-Dama Hotel Rhodes - My recent experience to share.
This is a really nice hotel although we did have an issue at the start, don't let any of my early review comments put you off...
We had a problem with our card key and door lock which meant that within our first 24 hours at the hotel we had to return to reception five times to see if it could be sorted out.
We were finally given a metal key which was not the best solution.
It really spoilt our first couple of days out of our seven day stay. Guest services were not very helpful giving us excuses and not helping to solve the problem.
We were eventually assisted by Eliza from the reception desk who dealt with our problem in a very professional way and organised for the electronic door lock to be replaced... problem solved at last!
Special thanks to Eliza. Following this our stay at the Dama Dama was great!
The hotel and facilities are wonderful with the pool area being just fantastic!
We hired cabanas which made our pool experience better, as it is a bit of a fight to secure sun-loungers in the morning.
The beach area is nice, again sun-loungers can be a bit of a challenge to obtain.
The beach club is great, with a good fun vibe and great service from the bar staff.
The overall feel of the hotel we found to be exceptionally clean and well organised .
It is easy to take the regular bus service into Rhodes town (20 mins), as the bust stop is right outside the hotel,
Again it's easy to travel to other parts of the island via bus, taxi, or organised tours.
Airport transfer was about 25 minutes (private transfer), lots of taxis available at the airport if you want to make your own arrangements.
Our room in the annex building was a bit dated, because it was a last minute booking, other more modern and updated rooms were not available, it was okay and very clean.
The Dama-Dama Buffet Restaurant is great with a large food selection at breakfast lunch and dinner,
We used all the al a carte restaurants which were all good (service can be a bit hit and miss).
The beach club lunch is really good if you want to eat in your swimwear in a relaxed atmosphere.
The staff really make this place, as they are always friendly and on hand to service your needs.
Overall its a brilliant hotel, good for families, and couples who are looking for an all inclusive holiday.
Although all the staff are very good throughout, a special mention to a few staff who went over and above to make our stay great.

Unforgettable Stay! Incredible Hospitality, Exceptional Dining & Stunning Views
My daughter and I recently returned from a fantastic week at Dama Dama, and we couldn’t have asked for a better holiday!
From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the property. Our room had a breathtaking sea view, and the hotel grounds are meticulously maintained—the lush, beautiful plants around the pool area created such a relaxing atmosphere. The cleanliness throughout the entire resort, from the grounds to our room, was top-tier.
Food & Wine Highlights:
The culinary experience exceeded all our expectations for an all-inclusive hotel. The food was consistently delicious, with the 4 à la carte restaurants being an absolute highlight. The drinks at the bars were well-crafted, and the wine selection in the restaurants was exceptional!
A special shoutout to Alexa, the hotel sommelier: Don't miss the wine tasting organized twice a week! Alexa was extraordinarily pleasant, friendly, and professional, making the experience truly memorable.

Amazing stay at Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama
Absolutely — here’s a warm, polished review that highlights the staff, restaurants and Martha’s kindness without sounding overdone:
We recently stayed at Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama and had such a wonderful experience from start to finish.
One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the staff. Everyone we encountered was incredibly warm, friendly and attentive, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. The level of service really made a difference to our holiday and made us feel genuinely looked after.
The food was also excellent, with a great selection and variety across the different restaurants. We really enjoyed being able to experience different dining options throughout our stay, and the quality of the food was consistently very good.
I would particularly like to mention Martha, who was absolutely wonderful. I unfortunately injured my foot during our stay and Martha went out of her way to take care of me and provide first aid. She was so kind, caring and reassuring, and I was extremely grateful for the way she looked after me. It is those personal touches and genuine acts of kindness that you remember long after a holiday has ended.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay. Beautiful hotel, great food and, most importantly, an exceptional team of people who really know how to look after their guests.

Perfect Holiday
What a beautiful place. We had an amazing holiday.
The food in the buffet was great, varied and fresh. But the Al la carte restaurants were fantastic. The beach bar has a relaxed atmosphere and the lunch spot next door was perfect for a more relaxed lunch on the beach where you can eat in or takeaway.
The beach was great always plenty of sunbeds. We only went to the pool once as beds are limited and go quick, that said it didn’t really bother us.
What stood out to us was the staff whether a cleaner, waiter or front of house everyone was super friendly and could not do enough for you. Monica in the lobby bar, Nicholas and Katerina at guest services, Aphrodite and Alexa who helped us have an amazing meal on the beach to name but a few.
Would most definitely recommend this hotel!!

Very happy with the level
Just home from a week here. We loved the hotel. Really chilled vibe. The food is magnificent, exactly what we would want for a family travelling. loads of options, fresh - really nice! We had absolutely zero issues with cleanliness. everything was always well presented, cleaned and tidied. only 20 mins from the airport worked perfect for us. the decor of the hotel is really nice.
We were in the main building, 4th floor - the rooms are tired and very basic. which is a shame, because the rest of the hotel is beautiful. I think the bungalows are a lot nicer - like the photos you will see.
like a lot of other places, sun beds was a massive problem, caused a bit heated discussion between guests here and there. some sort of fair system for reserving the nice padded sun beds would make sense.
The service was pretty good all round, again, peak season, so you will need to wait a bit at the pool bar. Great selection, something for everyone.
Kids club is really good and relaxed for the little ones, plenty going on for the older ones, too.
All in all, this is a top, top 4* hotel. I would stay here again - value for money was strong.
We were in the main building, 4th floor - the rooms are tired and very basic. which is a shame, because the rest of the hotel is beautiful. I think the bungalows are a lot nicer - like the photos you will see.
like a lot of other places, sun beds was a massive problem, caused a bit heated discussion between guests here and there. some sort of fair system for reserving the nice padded sun beds would make sense.
The service was pretty good all round, again, peak season, so you will need to wait a bit at the pool bar. Great selection, something for everyone.
Kids club is really good and relaxed for the little ones, plenty going on for the older ones, too.
All in all, this is a top, top 4* hotel. I would stay here again - value for money was strong.
