Like living in your own French Chateau with every amenity at your disposal!

This was an incredible experience; the home is so comfortable with every amenity you can wish for - exceeded expectations; the host Elodie is on site and so gracious and caring - the host family were able to provide us with great options for local experiences, wine, food etc : it was also very private with the pool and the whole grounds at our disposal; the games room and gym were a big bonus and made for fun evenings - this is the way to experience France!!

Lovely Place in South Burgundy

On our trip from the Netherlands to Piemonte we stayed one day at Clos Ceres. If we knew what we know now we would have booked more nights. A perfect place to stay and enjoy the region. Every is very well taken care off by Elodie. We loved our room, the space interior the garden. We very much enjoyed the Evening meal board (should be booked in advance), which is of high quality and very tasteful. We hope to return in the future

Nestled in the heart of the Viré-Clessé vineyards in Saône-et-Loire, our house is designed to be a peaceful haven of well-being and nature for travelers.

A getaway at a hidden gem

On our journey through (Southern) France, we experienced many accommodations. None enchanted us as much as Clos Ceres. A lovingly and carefully renovated old house that breathes and radiates history, a large park with old trees, on one hand large lawns to give space to your thoughts, on the other hand, enchanting corners that stimulate the imagination. The place itself is worth seeing; here the soul finds peace. In addition, the very accommodating and friendly nature of the hostess, a wonderful breakfast, an optional generous dinner plate, and a carefully curated wine list, are all that is needed for a wonderful getaway. Due to the weather, we could not use the swimming pool, but it promises great fun and refreshment. Thank you, Elodie; we hope that one day we will meet again. A greeting to the "ladies from the ballet." Highly recommended!

It is incredibly rewarding to know that our historic house, the century-old trees in the park, and our curated wine selection from the surrounding Viré-Clessé vineyards brought you such peace and inspiration.
We love helping our guests discover the best of Saône-et-Loire and Southern Burgundy, whether they are exploring local heritage or heading to the famous wine cellars of the region.
