A small room reserved just for us. A wonderful meal and a server who took great care of us.
By the way, a very, very good mention for Ahmed our server, thank you for his welcome, his kindness, and his professionalism.

4 stars?? Really... what a disappointment!
We booked with a 200 euro Smartbox voucher that basically included a night at the castle with breakfast included and a gourmet meal at the Capella. (The castle's restaurant)
First of all, let's talk about the arrival at the reception: entrance mat absolutely disgusting, hasn't seen a vacuum cleaner in a long time! The reception: a young man in jeans with sneakers that were absolutely unspeakable in their filth; we would have thought we were in a stable! The back of the reception desk has everything and anything in plain sight of the guests! Not at all worthy of a 4-star hotel for a first impression!
A man walks into the reception and gives orders on the fly to the receptionist who was trying to help us... not a hello, not a look... darn, we find out it's the manager of the establishment... and we will very quickly understand that here the staff is a reflection of the manager: no one says hello ♀️ we were supposed to have dinner at the castle's gourmet restaurant: the Capella... but we are told that there is a wedding and that, as a result, the restaurant is exceptionally closed; they replace our gourmet meal with a meal at the castle's rotisserie... okay, okay... a bit disappointing there too... then discovery of the room: "Knight Suite" which is therefore located in the castle's outbuildings and not in the castle... yet, basically, we were sold "a night at the castle"...
The Knight Suite.... Ouch, ouch, ouch, a family room with a king-size bed in the loft... except the A/C is UNDER the stairs and even with the A/C set to 20, we had to sleep on the old-fashioned sofas on the ground floor because the loft was unbreathable!!
A superb, memorable night at the castle, each of us on a sofa, without sheets or a duvet, obviously, given the unbearable heat! Bathroom of a quality barely acceptable for a 2-star hotel, the shower tray DIRTY upon our arrival! Spiderwebs on the only window in the room. Mold on the ceiling... and toilet paper that looks like newspaper ♀️ wow, what a dream night!!
There is a coffee machine, 2 capsules, including 1 decaf (a mandatory draw of the lots!) 4 tea bags and 1 bottle of 50 cl offered by the house in the minibar! Only 1 bottle for 2... once again, a mandatory draw of the lots because, given the ambient heat, we had to ration ourselves ♀️
The meal was, let's say, decent. Buffet for the appetizer was cafeteria-style, though. Not a dream-worthy buffet!
I had a swordfish steak .. the entire ocean was stored in said fish: inedible! They offered to make me another one when they cleared our table, but I really didn't want to try the experience again!! That said, we are still talking about 42-euro menus! My husband had a ribeye steak and we had to pay an 8-euro supplement, so consequently a 50-euro menu ...
Absolute sadness!
Positive point: their white Saint-Joseph is divine and their mojitos are pretty good too .. and we were treated to an absolutely magical sunset during dinner! There is some positive stuff after all!!
The surroundings of the castle park are not maintained, the windows of the entire establishment are not cleaned, and overflowing ashtrays are lying around everywhere!
Breakfast offered at 23 euros!!!!
I was expecting a buffet worthy of a 4-star hotel at that price ... Yeah .. again, we'll say it was acceptable but not exactly amazing! Positive point: the pastries are good and the cakes seem homemade .. on the other hand, regarding cleanliness in the castle, that should be reviewed too!!
We are in a 4-star hotel, incredible dust on the piano at the entrance of the castle (haven't seen a rag in a long time!) the floors are dirty, the carpets aren't vacuumed, and spiderwebs everywhere .. we said castle, not haunted house, right? ♀️
Overall disappointing for a 4-star hotel, the place could be very nice but everything needs to be reviewed regarding cleanliness, maintenance/housekeeping/renovation of the rooms .. and also TRAIN the staff! No one says hello, there is staff swarming everywhere but you really get the impression that it lacks management and efficiency!! A place that is falling apart, I would say ♀️
We will not be returning!

High-quality relaxing and enjoyable stay
Attentive staff from the front desk to the restaurant and the SPA.
Quiet environment, quality equipment, large pool allowing everyone to move around serenely.
Refined dining, very pleasant service staff, environment marked by the castle's vaults.
Spacious and impeccable room, tranquility guaranteed.
A real break and moment of escape that puts the daily grind on hold!

Very nice
The setting is super pretty.
The castle is very pretty too. We came following a gift box and we ate very well.
It is a 4-star hotel.
It was an experience to do and to do again later.
