the most beautiful hotel on the Normandy coast
The ambience of the Hotel VICTORIA is exceptional in every respect: a classic, timeless manor house, completely furnished inside with beautiful, well-chosen antiques, the likes of which have never been seen before; a very beautiful garden, an interior courtyard with pebbles so typical for France.
An oasis of rest in which history is still alive.
A very clean hotel, spacious rooms, individually furnished with antiques and heartfelt details. A good mattress; finally enough space to store your belongings, including in the bathroom. A very friendly and attentive welcome by the owner. We will come back with pleasure.

As an example of the service provided, the day before I departed his B&B I had an issue with a rent-a-car and Guillaume, on his own initiative, contacted a car dealership in the next town we were visiting to arrange that the issue be resolved. This all happened on a Saturday evening , and since car businesses are closed on Sunday, he promised me an email by 9:00 AM Monday morning, to tell me where to go and whom to speak with in the next town where I was staying. Sure enough, I got the email and the entire matter was handled in minutes at the car dealership.
Keep in mind, my missive above is merely an example of his “above and beyond” service and even without this car incident I would rate the Victoria B&B the best B&B experience in my life!!!
P.S. The location to visit the D-Day beaches was perfect ... a couple miles from Gold beach, in the center of all D-Day attractions.

D Day Trip
Our breakfast was delicious with home made apple tartlets, croissants, local ham, cheese, home made jams and local bread
Will certainly visit again and I strongly recommend the Victoria B&B if you are planning to visit the D Day memorials in this area.
