Excellent accommodation in Sete.

The host was so helpful and engaging. The breakfast was excellent with lots of homemade touches. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The common room was nice to relax at the end of the day with a glass of wine. The accommodation was close to everything. We felt like we had made a friend by the time we left.

One of the best bed and breakfasts

Probably one of the best stops on our hiking route of the canal between two seas. Everything is perfect! Rooms, meals (dinner worthy of the biggest restaurants, and gargantuan breakfasts). The most pleasant being the kindness and welcome of Sofia and maurizio all smile and care for everyone. We feel like a family! Don't change anything!!!

Everything is perfect. Starting with Maurizio's welcome which is available throughout your stay to give you plenty of ideas for walks and addresses of shops in the city and its surroundings.The breakfasts included in the room Award are varied and prepared with fresh , jams as well as yogurts are homemade.a large selection of pastries from is available.
If Maurizio offers you a table d'hôtes at their place, I recommend you accept.
The meal is prepared by Maurizio and Sofia are wife. Maurizio takes care of the savory and Sofia the sweet. Their granddaughter Cloé wants to participate with the utmost seriousness to serve the dishes. Udo the of the family is also present to the great pleasure of travelers. The rooms are quiet and very clean.

Great stay

Excellent stay. Maurizio and Sofia were very good. We felt at home... the welcome and the stay were excellent. Perfect breakfast with typical and genuine products. Too bad we didn't stay long... but we will definitely be back soon.

Wonderful BnB in Sete

My husband and I are on a self guided cycling trip around France and we chose Il Porto in Sete because they advertised secure storage for out bikes. We are so happy that we did. Il Porto is the family home of Maurizio and Sophia who are the most delightful and welcoming hosts. They have rooms to suit couples, singles and families and a secure garage and workshop for bikes. If you are very lucky like we were you can dine with the family on request. If you do, you are in for a treat of delicious home cooked food and great dinner company. Be aware though that they do not normally offer this service in busy times. Il Porto is centrally located for everything in Sete but is in a quiet side street.
