Avoid: dirty hotel and no security.
The luggage is left in the breakfast room, unattended and without cameras: as a result, the lock on my backpack was forced. And in response to this, there was no gesture or real consideration from the staff.
This was our second stay, and it is clearly getting worse. Avoid it.

Worst hotel experience
Our shower faucet was loose, our window could not be closed, our blankets had holes, the walls were way too thin, you could hear everything, which is why it was also very loud at night, the towels were dirty, and there was mold in the bathroom, and the room was actually supposed to be a handicapped-accessible room, but it was extremely small, and there was also no toilet grab bar by the toilet. The bathroom door could also not be closed or locked .
Never again to this terrible hotel

A waking nightmare
I had to fall back on this hotel because, a couple of weeks after the flight, the hotel where I had booked had canceled all reservations due to a hacking of its site, so, with the plane tickets already done, I had to find other accommodation and it wasn't easy because many of the hotels I had seen on the various dedicated sites were full. In the end, I found this hotel and the first thing I went to make sure of was the presence of air conditioning (the second was the location). Having verified that, as written on the booking site, it was among the "services and comforts" present in every room, I booked. I had understood from the photos that it was certainly not a luxury hotel, but it was fine for me anyway.
But I was absolutely not prepared for the situation I found!
First of all, there was no air conditioning; in its place, a useless fan.
In the room, which was almost entirely wood-paneled, there were only two power outlets, one of which was detached from the wall with the wires exposed. My daughter and I had to take turns charging our cell phones because we had plugged the fan into the "good" outlet.
One of the wall lamps did not have a working switch, so it was impossible to turn it off. I had to remove the lightbulb in order to be able to "sleep."
The carpet was dirty in some spots and worn in others, and it covered a sort of hole in the floorboards.
In the bathroom, the hair dryer was broken, in the sense that it was split in half; the towels were frayed and stained with spots that don't come out even when washed.
Everything was patched up or worn out, broken: the ceiling plaster, the cracks along the door frames, the chipped tile grout...
Do you remember that I mentioned the walls covered in wood paneling? Well, from those wooden coverings came out many lovely little ants...
Since I don't get by well with French and the owner (?) told me he doesn't get by well with English, I couldn't make my complaints about the lack of air conditioning. When I went down to point it out to him, explaining that the website indicated the presence of air conditioning in all the rooms, he simply told me "Ce n'est pas possible is only two star" and he couldn't have cared less!!!
I have never been to such a squalid place in my life.
So my advice is DO NOT GO TO THE LE FAUBOURG HOTEL - OPERA.
