Great Experience
The owner, Laurent, gave us a great and warm welcome!
The place is located in the old part of Lyon with lots of shops, bars and restaurants all in walking distance. Although it's in the center, the apartment is located in a save and quiet environment.
Next time we go definitely back!

Book WITHOUT confidence
We booked and fully paid for accommodation at L'imprinerie well in advance of our trip in Sept 2018. With no warning our accommodation was cancelled two months after booking.
We later saw accommodation for our dates listed at a higher price on another online booking service. Most unprofessional! Our fully paid booking was made through an online booking service. So much for booking early!

good apartment for 4 and more people
This is a flat on two levels with fully equipped kitchen and living room on the ground floor and bedrooms at the second floor. Although the surroundings are not very exciting, is well located across the street from the Perruche train station which takes you any place in Lyon. Nicely furnished. Access inside is through three doors which is safe, maybe a little complicated, but we communicated with the host prior to our arrival, and he waited for us and provided with all needed explanations.
On the minus side, there are two bathrooms but only one WC, which is inconvenient for 4 or more people that the flat can otherwise accommodate. The wifi network was quite unstable. The interior court is shared with other apartments and tenants, and was quite noisy during the afternoon hours when we wanted to rest. There seems to be no A/C which may be a problem during summer.
On the minus side, there are two bathrooms but only one WC, which is inconvenient for 4 or more people that the flat can otherwise accommodate. The wifi network was quite unstable. Manage your expectations
L'imprimerie is a serie of small living spaces created in a backend of and an other building. Thet fitted the maximum rooms as possible so be ready for some limited space, think bigger caravan type of space. Our's did not have any window in the bedroom, and i could not stand up in the place with the seats. The photo's are a bit misleading, the beautifull outside sitting space is surrounded by 5 floors high appartments. Everthing is ikea like so young, flashy, a bit brick-brock. But location is great, so i would strongly recommend it for youngsters travelling.

Awesome value for money if traveling as a group
We traveled as a group of 5 people during January. We stayed there for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Laurent contacted us on the day of the arrival which made it a little tricky if we didn't have internet, however, we found him to be one of the most accommodating people yet!
The apartment is double story with 3 rooms. The beds were all comfortable and everything was clean. The bathroom was big and the shower had great pressure.There was a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge room with a TV. Laurent was kind enough to let us use his washing machine AND washing detergent. He also had a tumble dryer! Internet was for free and it was very speedy!
The apartment is within walking distance to the city centre. Considering its a good apartment in a good location, it was value for money if staying as a group or family.
All in all, Laurent was a fabulous and kind host. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place.
