A parenthesis as we seek

A bed and breakfast in the countryside, in a beautiful mansion completely renovated by its owners — retired, but obviously animated by a real passion for what they do. It feels like it immediately.
The interior is neat, tastefully decorated — we had a good time discussing it with the owner, tireless on the subject and sincere kindness. The room is spacious, well equipped, very nice.
But what remains is the atmosphere. The garden, the quiet, and in the morning, the birds wake up. It's hard to do better to really pick up the phone.
The greenway is a stone's throw away for walks. And the small dogs of the house perfectly complete the picture.
Let's get back on track. This kind of place, it's not made.

House of charm

Passing through the area, we were looking for a quiet and charming home for
One night. Beautiful and pleasant surprise to have discovered this house in a beautiful park. Room (Suite Victor Hugo) very nice and very large with a very nice bathroom. A quiet and charming place with an excellent DPJ. A step that we will repeat during our visit to this region

Beautiful site, beautiful house, great opportunities

Nice rooms (we were in the one with two rooms), proper welcome but not particularly warm, as noted by other hosts. Charming renovation for the building according to current codes of decoration. Garden again in his juice. Night of 31 December so no possibility to test the pool (!). Comfortable bedding. Problem with sewage odors in the room closest to the small bathroom (approximately 2 meters) probably due to the fact that this room / bathroom had not been used recently.
Proper but very standard lunch (e.g. no eggs, or local cakes, basic teas). Sticky atmosphere- tight in the breakfast room if all guests arrive/lunch at the same time.
Comments on dogs: they are no longer welcome with the hosts but those of the owners, two small Yorks, very friendly, will be in your paws during breakfast, which makes traffic even more delicate.
