What a great find!

With a long journey ahead from Il de Re to North Yorkshire we were looking for an overnight stay which is always a risk. We were fortunate to stumble across this super family run hotel which was outstanding in every way, even down to electric shutters on the windows and an aircon unit.
The staff without exception were a delight and the food spectacular. If you are reading this, just book, you’ll be so glad you did.

Charming place, very pro team

Really a lovely place, well run by a very professional couple. The rooms are all air conditioned except the “Fleurie” which is a little smaller but the team will have installed a Dyson purifier (very effective for making fresh air) if it is really hot outside. An ideal anchor in the area to visit various places of interest (castles of Bizy or Vascœuil, Abbey of Mortemer). The well-appointed garden and swimming pool are pleasant on sunny days.
As for the restaurant, the menu is unbeatable value for money, even if there is a more openly gastro menu so a little more expensive (we are determined to test it at the next passage). Very attentive room Service, kind without being obsequious.

Perfect, delicious

Everything is perfect. Friendly, efficient and smiling service.
Delicious meals. The Chief is truly extraordinary. This is the fourth time and, really, we have never disappointed. Thanks to the whole team.
I recommend this restaurant. Lively spring to enjoy the terrace.

beautiful establishment

Beautiful landscaped garden and swimming pool. Lovely arbor.
the orange jacuzzi room would be worthy of a 4 star if you found slippers, branded toiletries, a nespresso machine.
excellent bedding and nice decoration.
Watch out for staircase mats unsecured access so dangerous!

Great hotel and area!

We shall definitely return here to this hotel and area! We stayed in a new conversion so everything was pristine. The bed was super comfy and it had a good spacious shower. The pool area was very modern and the terrace was a lovely spot for dinner. They had a garage to store our bikes and the parking was gated and private. The dinner served was top quality and excellent value for money as was the breakfast. The wine was a bit pricey but good quality. The architecture and countryside around was superb. We had an excellent mountain bike ride! Would highly recommend!
