Room as described, and clean. Check-in was a total disaster: 20 minute wait in line. No conditioner in bathroom. Good breakfast.

At 15 mins walk, the hotel is in the perfect location for opera-goers. Staff were friendly and helpful and check-in was smooth. The room was perfectly clean, but like the rest of the hotel could do with updating. Good value for the price.

Basic hotel with great location

Location is great and staff were friendly! As always during summer it's difficult to find accommodation in Savonlinna. I believe this hotel is student accommodation rest of the year, which explains the quite basic standard of it.
Rooms were clean, bathroom was very spacious too. Beds were fine, but the vibe is quite dated and there is no air condition, which can be an issue during warm summer days, our room was quite warm.
Breakfast is really good though, which a nice selection of cold and hot food!
Given the price (which is due to the high demand, especially in July when the opera festival is ongoing), I cannot give it a higher rating, but it serves it's purpose and the location, cleanliness and breakfast makes it a decent option!

The hotel is more to the standad i would expect in a hostel, the rooms are very basic and the bathroom has a smell thats not very pleasant. Everything is out of date.
The breakfast is horrible, based on processed food and cheapest products you can get. The coffecups and plates are unclean.

Mukava hotelli satamassa, nice place to stay on harbour.

Kötevä pikku hotelli aivan Savonlinnan matkustajasataman vieressä. Olavinlinna ja muut siihen liityvät kohteet sekä tori lähellä ja keskustaakaan ei pitkälti. Siistit ja avarat huoneet, iso jääkaappi plussaa ja aamiainen oli todella runsas ja monipuolinen, savusilakat ++. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja hymyilevää. Ainoana miinuksena ilmastoinnin puute huoneessa.
Convinient summerhotel near harbour. Marketplace and castle just few minutes away. Nice and clean rooms and exellent breakfast, smoked herrings ++. Helpful and smiley staff. Only minus is lack of air cond in room.
