Wonderful time. Delicious food, excellent room and attentive and friendly staff. Allround great place to stay.

Stunning views, but dangerous negligence ruined everything

We stayed at Arctic Panorama Resort from January 30 to February 5.
Pros: The Panorama Chalet room was beautiful - spacious, modern, huge windows with an incredible Arctic view (great for northern lights). Food was tasty and well prepared.
Cons: The paths to rooms/lobby were covered in thick ice the entire stay. Multiple people slipped; I fell three times - the third time I smashed my elbow (confirmed back in Israel). Also destroyed the handle of an kind-of antique knife from Santa Claus Village in the fall. We complained repeatedly about the ice - reception completely ignored us. No salting, no warnings, nothing. Housekeeping was awful too. Almost never changed towels or sheets during our whole stay, even after asking.
Beautiful place on paper, but the shocking lack of care for basic safety and service makes it not worth the risk. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who wants to return home uninjured.
We would not return.

Our team took the situation very seriously and the area was managed daily using local best practice to address this specific winter challenge. All guests were informed about the icy conditions at reception and asked to take extra care. We remain sorry that despite these measures, the fall occurred.
Our housekeeping operates on sustainable practices communicated to all guests on arrival, where towels and linen are changed upon request or when the provided signals in the chalet are used.
The wellbeing of our guests remains our highest priority and feedback like yours helps us to continuously improve our practices.

Relaxing

I liked how remote it was from the city center. The over-snow villas reminded me of the Maldives, but on snow. The resort is pure tranquility and serenity—no noise and not crowded. It was ideal for my husband since he came for relaxation.

Best of the best!

I have visited Lapland several times. This time I stayed at the Arctic Panorama Hotel. A great hotel located on a hillside. Apart from the Northern Lights we saw from the room, the hotel itself is luxurious and cozy, the food is great, the rooms are excellent, the staff is friendly and the service is above all expectations. The best hotel I have been to in Lapland compared to all the previous ones I have been to!!!

Brand new resort, cozy, warm and spacious chalets with beautiful views. Staff were attentive and friendly, special mention to Ilmari and gentleman at the reception who kindly shared their knowledge about Finland and the resort.
Some extra touches and few activities could benefit the resort like forest trail, fire to toast marshmallows, extra towels and drinking water in sauna space, but I am sure more is coming soon.
Loved the quiet location of being in the taiga forest and yet so close to the city and the airport. Food was delicious, blueberry ‘soup’ is a must try!
