Short notice booking was worthwhile
I stayed in this hotel in 2014, but my memory of that occasion is a bit hazy. However I was pleased with the large single room which I stayed in on this occasion. There was plenty of space for luggage, and to hang up clothes on coat hangers. Room cleaning was clean & tidy when I arrived, and it felt secure at all times.
Breakfast was available each morning, but I was never up early enough after socialising each night in the town centre....my bad
The hotel is located in the town centre, within minutes walk of numerous shops, restaurants and pubs. The quiet & relaxed atmosphere in the hotel contributed to an enjoyable week in Lahti

Good choice for Lahti
The location was fine - just 20 minutes' walk from the railway station. As we were arriving after 5.30pm we were given a code with which to enter the hotel and our keys were waiting for us at the reception desk. The entrance did not look particularly inviting but the inside it was fine.
Our room on the fifth floor was of a decent size. There was a rack with a few coathangers; a wardrobe or some drawers would have been useful. The shower looked rather old but in fact worked very well. The beds were comfortable.
Breakfast was an excellent buffet, better than many we have had in swankier hotels. The staff were pleasant and spoke very good English.
We booked direct with the hotel (not via booking.com) and so did not have to pay until we checked out. A happy reminder of how things used to be!

The staff was friendly and very helpful!
The room was simple, but clean and efficient! It looks like the room was just renovated!
