Memorable experience at Neptune Hotel, Brooklyn

This is a budget hotel to stay in New York. The staff are courteous and friendly. The hotel is near subway and easy to locate for visitors.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL

This hotel is a joke. My room had a flashing alarm light (like a flash bulb for a camera) which could not be turned off. I had to wrap silver foil around it. I told the management that it was not normal and asked for a refund or a reduction. They refused. There was no lock on my door either so I had to take all my possessions with me during the day. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL

Worst hotel ever

The front desk people need to learn to be more professional and polite to customers. They are so condescending and act like they're doing you a favor or you are lodged in prison. You can also hear a lot of noise from other tenants and the smell of weed kept seeping into my room. They will tell you they can't control what the other customers do when they could at least regulate these things to make the place feel just a little less than a brothel. You get what you pay for, but even for a payment that averaged about $100 a night, I deserved much better service. I am sure these reviews don't bother them as they're obviously in service due to the high demand of housing in NY, but yuck. Wil definitely never come back.

Stay away!!!

I have stayed in this hotel for one night in February. I don't know where to start. Very dirty common toilet.
Noisy (people shouting, loud music, subway trains), The hallway is very narrow. When I got into the room I felt that I don't want to touch anything in this room including the bed. The TV was not working. I am not the complaining type but this is "hotel" lowered the bar!! look for a decent place

Affordable Family Stay

This is a great hotel, don't let the reviews scare you away. Its a family owned business in the heart of bushwick. And for the price you get a nice set of amenities such as free wifi,towels,clean room and comfy bed. yes the room is small but your in NYC. if your traveling on a budget this a great choice. But what i will say to stay on the safe side do not accept the receptionist offer for your deposit in cash. always use your card!
