Good location, bathroom sanitation could have been better
The location (on the doorstep of Arches National Park and not far from Canyonlands National Park) and price made this RV park our choice for a recent three-night stay. We got there about 30 minutes before the Welcome Center/camp store closed and it seemed liked the guy behind the counter had better things to do than deal with arriving campers. Overall our stay was uneventful, although one night someone took our spot and when I mentioned it to the staff the next day they just shrugged and never responded to my email on the same subject. The biggest negative was the condition of the bathroom/shower rooms. I understand that dozens of people using the same bathrooms makes them hard to keep clean, but the staff didn't seem to make much effort. The bathrooms were just gross.

Disappointment for SunOutdoors brand
We only used RV site portion of facility so cabins might be great. We have stayed at other Sun Outdoor brand rv parks and loved them. This one is shamefully bad. VERY tight spaces. Old picnic tables ( sitting on them would damage clothes / slivers in arms for sure), no place to park tow car. Chaos with high volume of spaces because so close. Check in was poor because it was either understaffed or disorganized because it shares the chevron convenient store. Would not recommend if you are used to bigger site resorts for rv.

The Frontier airlines of RV Parks
This was my first time staying at one of the Sun Outdoors locations, but far from my first time to Moab. The location is really nice. Great views and nice accommodations. We rented an RV pull-through site. The highway is noisy.
Sun Outdoors is like the Frontier Airlines of RV parks. The nightly rate looks awesome, and then the bait and switch happens. $10 per night Guest fee. So, in the end you pay as much as other places. Want a fire pit? That's $11 a day. Want to work and have a video call, that's $8 a day. Want to pick your spot? That's $50. Oh, you want to do laundry; well, that's turned off for the season, even though it's in a heated building. I am surprised we weren't charged for having a motorcycle with us.

Give the cabins a miss - not worth the money
We stayed in one of the supposed "Deluxe" cabins - they are far from deluxe, they are very tired and need a total refurbishment. They are not worth the money that they are charging with front deck falling apart as well as numerous issues inside the cabin. The staff were lovely in particular Linda thank you so much for your help. Look elsewhere for your cabin stay in Moab.

Nice Place, No actual WiFi
Great Staff, nice place to stay, but..... If you need to use email, texts, or anything else this is not the place to stay. They say they have free wifi, they don't have usable free wifi. Our entire group which stayed there several days had no wifi the entire time. I paid and upgraded to premium wifi and it was still not useable. They should let people know before they stay that they actually don't have service that is useable in most areas of the campground.

Our WiFi is suitable for checking emails or updating social media, but it does not support streaming or video calls, and it does slow down when the campground is full and lots of people are online (such as a holiday weekend). While we would love for all of our guests to be able to unplug and enjoy the Outdoors, we understand that jobs and other responsibilities will sometimes follow us wherever we travel. Therefore, we are always keeping connectivity in mind as we plan our future improvements. Meanwhile, we hope you were able to enjoy your time exploring the Outdoors.
