Simply amazing
After securing some mega cheap Ryanair flights we were on the hunt for some cheap and cheerful accommodation. When we came upon this hostel (by the way don’t let the word hostel put you off it’s what we in the UK would definitely liken to a hotel) we thought wow how could somewhere so nice looking be so cheap (we paid £86 for two nights!! Total)
Well all I can say is we struck gold! The whole place is absolutely immaculate the position is great literally a five minute stroll to the lovely beach and close to the beautiful old town. We have been blessed with wall to wall sunshine and lovely temps for 2 days which means we have made full use of our private terrace! We paid a little bit more for a suite (webhad the Costa Del Sol suite) and so glad we did. (We could have got a standard room for just £60 for two nights!) Gorgeous comfy bed unbelievable shower and the room also had a hairdryer and iron! We also had a coffee machine and tea!
The receptionist was very friendly although we only saw her on arrival. The only slight negative is that I never received any response from emails I had sent prior to our arrival but that really wouldn’t put me off in any way. If we return to Marbella we wouldn’t stay anywhere else! 5 stars!

Good location, poorly serviced
A new development on a wonderful lane close to the old town and seafront, but the room was rather squashed and facilities limited to say the least. No tea, WiFi intermittent, all a bit spartan and functional with (in our room) very limited natural light. WE arrived well before reception was meant to close at 7pm and had to make three phone calls to get in as the code supplied did not work (a new code had been sent to my Junk box which I hadn't picked up). Then on one night we were woken up by the piercing fire alarm at 3am and had to all huddle downstairs while my wife phoned the Spanish fire brigade. No staff on call it seemed (turned out to be someone smoking in their room which they shouldn't). ON the other hand, an excellent breakfast cafe nearby and great place for strolling or running along the beach.

Fantastic Welcome
We booked this hotel due to its convenient location for the starlight festival. The welcome and assistance given by the lady on reception was outstanding. Our roo. Was clean, bed comfy. We did get a little noise as we had a room on the ground floor but it did not spoil our stay. When we visit marbs again we would stay at the alisol.

A little Gem in the Old Town
Tucked away down a narrow cobbled street in the old part of Marbella, the Alison Boutique Hostel exceeded the expectations of even a seasoned traveler like myself. Taking into consideration, price, location, facilities and comfort, the Hostel was absolutely perfect.
Ok, admittedly the rooms were small, but not cramped and certainly big enough for the two of us for four nights as we explored the delights of Marbella and attended my sons Graduation Ceremony from the nearby International School of Hotel Management. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed, just great after a hard day walking around Marbella or just relaxing on the nearby beach. The furniture was nice and modern and the bathroom amenities well stocked. I liked the policy of non-smoking rooms, each floor does have a place for those wishing to smoke, but the ensuing smell was not a disturbance. Whilst the room did not provide a coffee making facilities in the Rooms, it did dispense a delicious coffee from the machine located in the Foyer, the compliments of the Hostel.The roof top Terrace was an added bonus to sunbathe or just chill out.
Location was perfect, A few steps away from the Hostel and we hit numerous small but quaint bistros, bars, restaurants and a few steps further was the Supermarket. The beach was easy accessible being only about 5 minutes walk away. Whilst located in a small street it was reasonably easy to hail a taxi from the Square which again was in easy walking distance. In the evening the area really came alive as Tourists and Locals alike explored the bars and Al-fresco dining in the Old Town. Can get a bit noisy, but just lay back and enjoy the atmosphere.
The Hostel staff were really charming, whilst not speaking English they went out of their way to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

Cosy & clean,great location
Very friendly,not easy to find by car, up a lovely small street with trees in the old town.
Quite different from are usual Spa hotel,but here on business so one nite was fine, Standard double room was small but very clean & wonderful bathroom ,my only gripe was the emergency green light was to bright at nite in the room so difficult to sleep.
Parking in nearby streets(gratis) no problema
Price was around€43 room.Free café & croissants.+ 2 keys,front door & room.
