Enjoyable stay on the Camino Francés

Stayed here last night as part of my journey on the Camino Francés. This place is exceptional. They have exceptionally attentive staff, outstanding hospitality and people who genuinely go out of their way to look after their guests.

The hotel and its staff were delightful. So, no complaints. BUT be aware, if there in the height of summer, that the rooms are not air-conditioned. The lobby, communal areas and presumably the downstairs rooms, stay nice and cool but my room was upstairs and was really too hot at times.

Beautiful and calm

Such a lovely, calming place to stay, especially when walking the Camino. Beautiful surroundings and everything possible done to make your stay as comfortable and easy as possible.

Exceptional in Every Way

This is an amazing experience of tranquility, respite and renewal. The grounds are beautiful, with the Castle of Castrojeriz in the backdrop, the accommodations are absorbing and comfortable, the amenities offered satisfy all needs. The food prepared by Carolina is a taste of Spain that we will always remember. We felt like family members, not guests. This is elegance without formality, genuine expression of sharing. Thank you, thank you. We will return!

Exceptional place to disconnect

Nondescript place to disconnect, more than recommended.
The place itself is beautiful, clean and welcoming, my partner and I chose it for a night before returning to the madness of Madrid after a vacation and it was the best choice.
It is an exceptional place to disconnect 100% for a weekend. The staff is really friendly and the food exquisite, we booked dinner because we did not want to leave the hotel and it was a total success, product of its own orchard, amazing flavors and a treatment like home.
We are clear that we will return and even more that we can not fail to recommend it.
