Incredible location on the corner of Las Ramblas and Placa de Catalunya. The room was perfect for our needs, spotlessly clean, excellent shower, tv and really quick WiFi…..what more do you need!!
The outstanding aspect were the staff down on reception whom were beyond helpful, friendly and solved any minor issue queried without hesitation.
An absolute gem of a hotel and ticked every single box!!!

Don't do it
Don't stay at this hotel.
The night staff was not helpful at all. we had faulty sockets, ants in our room when we spoke to the night staff (William) he didn't seem phased about the problem at all and said it was because we had food in our room ( a packet of crisp) gave us a spray canister of insect killer and left us to deal with the problem.
The lift was so slow It felt like it would break down any minute, the floor of the lift was a tripping hazard.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location.

Oh, bad!
Difficult to qualify this establishment with the category of hotel, more like a pension, and the worst one can imagine.
By default they assigned a room without bathroom, without this being explicit in the description or in the booking act. For the bathroom option in the room, we had to pay extra 30€ per night.
The door was like a room in a house, without any kind of security and opened out!!!
The light of the room lit with a switch! There are no switches in the rooms.
The tiny window faced a wall.
During the night there was a lot of noise, people walking through the hallway to access the bathroom, many of them drunk, and/or laughing loudly.
I do not recommend, it is not a place where you can rest - both by the noise and the lack of conditions.

If you are looking for a hotel that is a cookie cutter to the budget hotels you would find in the states this place is not for you. It is quirky in a floors not quite level, key fob is a trailer hitch pull, small rooms but high ceilings kind of way. The plaster walls hide beautiful marble work that is only now being uncovered. The rooms have everything you will need but are basic. But oh the location! Right on La Rumbas the place is within walking distance to so very much. I loved that it was a 5 minute walk with my heavy suitcase to the Aerobus that takes you to the airport for about $8.00 Three blocks in any direction will land you someplace cool.

Tinny room, poor facilities, however, because of the hotel is very small, front staff remember me and passed me my room key without asking my name.
Location and s very good to take Metro, sightseeing bus and airport bus as well.
There are many restaurants and supermarkets so that I don’t have any problems to eat and purchasing snacks and bottle of water.
If I could pay more, there are many good hotels around my hotel.
