Lovely place

What a lovely place. The staff were excellent and kind, Really nice hotel in a good location. Was really well kept and very clean. Room was great with lots of room. People have complained there wasn’t any air conditioning but it is a Nordic city, it is rare that it is that hot and I felt it cooled quickly in our room overlooking the court yard.

A bit disappointing

I chose the hotel due to the good reviews, not considering the bad ones, however my experience was a bit disappointing!
Despite the fact the hotel was fully booked, I spent a night without air conditioning, despite the fact it was nearly £300 a night.
Then I requested the room to be cleaned but, toiletries were not replaced (so I had to go down to the reception take some to have a shower), rubbish bins were left full, cups were left dirty…
The worst housekeeping I ever experienced in a hotel

Bikers avoid.

As a group of 11 motorcyclist we chose Hotel Nora for our stay in Copenhagen. The hotel is located a 15 minute walk from the City Centre and was a reasonably priced clean accommodation however our room and many others did not have A/C and we strut to obtain a fan.
Furthermore the toilet/shower was wholly inadequate in so much as the floor was level with minimal gradient to the shower drain. Consequently the floor flooded to the point we had to form a dam of towels to stem the flow of water to other areas of the bath.
I must however save my biggest criticism for the parking and charges, especially for motorcycles. We’re seasoned campaigners so can fit 4/5 bikes per car bay. Our stay was for two nights so imagine our horror to find a joint charge of …….3000 Danish Krona for 5 bikes (600 Krona/£70 per bike) This is pure profiteering in my opinion and quite frankly disgraceful.

Greed

Hotel advises secure parking, as a group traveling by motorcycle that’s important. What we found though was hotel wanted the same price for. Motorcycle as a car. That would have been fine if they then gave us a bay each. That wasn’t the case. It was 4 or 5 bikes to a bay. We are used to this. What was very clear hotel were only after money. We should have been charged for one bay like a car.

Great hotel, lovely staff and good location

We were travelling as a family of 4, (2 children aged 21 and 16) to see a concert at the Parken stadium in Copenhagen and wanted a hotel within walking distance of the stadium but also within walking distance of the main city.
Hotel Nora is a family run hotel and as we were arriving late, they arranged to leave our keys and instructions at the cocktail bar next door.
This all worked out great and the 2 rooms were a good size, very clean and had everything we needed.
The beds and pillows were very comfortable.
We filled in a breakfast request form and left it in the post box in reception and when we came down in the morning our breakfast was delivered to us within minutes. The food was plentiful and delicious.
If i had to give one negative is that our rooms were above the breakfast cafe and we were awoken by staff chatting and the smell of bacon around 6am but this was only because we had the windows open and was soon solved.
We didn't hear any road noise and slept really well
Overall i would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are attending a concert as its only a 20-25 minute walk with some bars and restaurants on the way.
