A great stay with a nice family

My girlfriend and I stayed in a private room with en-suite bathroom here for three nights in between Christmas and New Year.
This hostel is located about a 15-20 minute walk from town and around 10-15 minute walk from the airport.
We were greeted by Juan and his family who are so warm and welcoming, and they are happy to accommodate all of your needs, including the hiring of a buggy (150,000 peso for a day) to travel around the island.
Breakfast is available for 12,000 or 10,000 peso, however we didn’t use this, as there is a supermarket right next door which was extremely handy and seemed to be always open.
Our room was clean, comfortable and adequate for our needs, although there did seem to be something wrong with the plumbing in the shower (a minor issue) as water leaked a few times onto the bedroom floor.
We were provided with towels for the shower, which wasn’t majorly hot but was absolutely fine considering the temperature on the island.
The room was cleaned every day which most hostels wouldn’t do.
On the day of checkout we were able to leave our bags for the day while we went to the beach before our late flight.
The only downside was that the internet in our room was so slow; and you could often hear noise from outside on a night time, but nevertheless this didn’t impact our stay too much.
All in all, a great stay here at Posada San Nicolas and I would recommend it to you.
Oh and PS, they have a lovely dog called ‘Doggy’ who was really friendly!

Warm and welcome stay!!!!

Juan and his wife are amazing and so helpful. Great private room with AC, fridge, digital cable tv, private bathroom, cleaned daily. Juan can rent you mopeds, tours and help you navigate the fun and best activities, you get a free cup of vine when you go to capitan mandis (seafood restaurant) because you stay at Juans. Juan made me herbal tea when I was sick. There is a grocery store right next store. 15-20 walk to town center. No kitchen but they give you coffee in the morning and let you borrow anything you need ! Their dog (names Doggy) is so cute. The hotel is located on a safe street with a big safety gate. Amazing friendly and genuine folks!!! I would definitely stay again!!!

Siempre los voy a Elegir

Es un lugar muy tranquilo, limpio y cómodo,se encuentra a 15 min caminando a la playa del centro y al lado un supermercado,lo cual es buenisimo . Adriana y Juan son excelentes anfitriones,siempre están dispuestos a ayudarte en lo que necesites y a aconsejarte en las excursiones que quieras hacer,siempre amables y calidos, sin duda volvere a hospedarme cuando regrese.

Perfeito, melhor impossível!

Perfeito! Melhor impossível! Os donos foram super receptivos, buscaram a gente no aeroporto, a pousada é linda, limpa, os quartos são aconchegantes... recomendo sem dúvida! Fica super perto do centro.

Génial !

De l'arrivée jusqu'au départ tout était top ! Les proprio, leur accueil, leur amabilité, leur aide dans toutes vos démarches, leurs suggestions pour bien organiser votre séjour, toujours serviable, la chambre, très propre, la location des vélos, scoot et buggys directement à la posada, et la petite supérette à 2m pour les petits dej et apéro que vous savourerez dans leur jardin.
Bref un excellent rapport qualité / prix pour San Andres !
