Nice hotel

We had a lovely stay! The hotel has a welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. Everything was super clean and tidy, which we really appreciated.
One suggestion for improvement would be to add an artificial fireplace on the patio – it would be perfect for those who love spending time on the balcony, especially in the evenings. Also, some privacy dividers could make shared areas more comfortable for guests.
We stayed in Room 4, and while we enjoyed the space, the sound insulation wasn’t great – we could hear quite a bit from the neighboring rooms. A little upgrade there would really enhance the experience.
Overall, it’s a charming place with great potential, and we’d definitely consider coming back!

Nice location but overpriced for what was offered

This was a nice location on the far side of Gabriola Island with nice views. Rooms however are quite old and dated in spite of what seems to have been half hearted renovations and amenity updates. Coffee maker was lousy and no hot plate or stove in spite of the rooms status as a "suite". Parking was also limited and no staff were really present---just a remote COVID era check in process where the room was left for us. My wife paid nearly $200 for this per night, which seemed really high for what we got. Either improve the hotel experience or realign pricing with the actual value of the stay.

You can do better!

We had such a great weekend on Gabriola attending a family wedding. Paige's Inn was a convenient location with a great view and handy kitchenette with (bonus!) great coffee supplied. As former Inn keepers, we were however, disappointed with the condition of the unit. While clean and well supplied, it has clearly passed it's best by date with sagging floors and shabby decor. All would be forgiven, had not the central point of a successful accommodation been present Alas! The bed was a veritable mountain range of sags, lumps and bumps. We tried to make do with the plentiful supply of pillows but no remedy could be found. At 230 am we experimented with different positions ... no not that kind! Given the mathematical realities of a king size bed being equal in all dimensions, we tried rotating our sleep position . Finally, we achieved a modest improvement with sleeping sideways on the bed. That along with a supply of ibuprofen provided a slight improvement. The one advantage?: We were up with the birds and out the door early. Come on Page! You can do better.

Special Birthday Trip

We were disappointed at the run down condition of the Inn. Flooring, drapes, bathroom. The kitchen was great and lots of supplies. Also the large deck and view was lovely- it just needs some tlc.
It was very remote and isolated for two ladies and being the only occupants at the Inn. For our second night we asked the owner, Paula, if there was space at the Pages Resort. Paula got us into a really nice two bedroom cottage with a wraparound deck. It really improved our outlook for the rest of our trip on Gabriola. Would recommend Pages Resort!

Fixer upper

Nice bay, though the ‘resort’ needs some TLC. Poor value at its current offering. Likewise for the Inn.
Have received good advice that old fashioned bed and breakfasts are the way to go on Gabriola! Cheers
