On our second night we had a fabulous room - and everything was clean white and the gentlemen at reception very accommodating. We got free breakfast and again totally adequate for what we paid. Best value for money!

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

The room was dirty. The toilet and AC were broken. The TV only got one channel. And the neighboring rooms were noisy. The desk clerk barely spoke English, The place was a disgusting hole. The only reason we stayed is there was nowhere else available in the town and the weather was too bad (and we were too tired) to keep driving. We should have slept in the car. Do not stay here.

Hotel needs some love. Looks and feels tired and run down. However, I can understand reluctance of Owner to invest funds, as Gold River sees few tourists. Room was clean enough and the only staff person (combined manager/cleaner?) was friendly and helpful. Central kitchen facility was in need of a good clean and paint job. Lots of parking.

Basic Accomodation, plenty of parking, friendly staff. Restaurant/pub next door was very convenient.
