Lovely Place, Lovely Hosts!

We stayed 5 days at this beautiful, lovely, peaceful place. Renata and Rodrigo are great hosts, help you with everything you need and make sure that their pousada feels like home to anyone - also because of Renata's paintings and Rodrigo's photographs that decorate the walls. The whole place is super clean and offers a variety of options to hang out, play games or prepare own meals. It's a ten minute walk to the closest beach; Uber and a nearby bus bring you to a range of beaches in the area. Rodrigo had great tips where and how to go - also without having an own car. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely come back if we visit Ubatuba again. Thank you!

Unprofessional and unkind

I made my reservation through booking.com as I did all the other htl reservation for our honeymoon.
15 days before my checking date I received a message saying my card was not valid. ( the same card I always used with all my other bookings without a problem )
I provide the property with 3other Cards numbers and again they could not process the payment. I contact booking. Com they also try to call the property and as I did wasIt able to get a reply.
I contact My Credicard and they said that no payment was requested by the hotels that made, that my Credicard was working fine and that probably the htl was using a system that was out of date with security that is why they couldn’t get through.
I wrote several messages saying that o would do a bank transfer once I was by my computer, I don’t do this operation on my phone,!I said that I was really interested and I would pay as soon the was back home ONCE IT WAS XMAS AND I WAS AT MY MUM.
The property completely ignored all my messages and cancelled my reservation.
So considering that I said you would do a bank transfer once back home, this was totally unprofessional, unkind they left us without a reservation 10days before our checking. They now put all the prices and probably that was their aim since the beginning . I strongly believe that ecology starts by treating not only the planet by other humans fairly. This attitude made me doubt the integrity of this place. I would not recommend. Unless you want to be left without accommodation few days before you checking date and in my case on Xmas Day .

You did not pay for the reservation. So it was cancelled. This is how hotels work. If you dont pay, your reservation is cancelled. We replied to your messages, contrary to what you affirm here, and we can prove it on Booking.com where the messages are. So you show yourself untrustworthy and dishonest. We gave you the option to do a bank transfer, but you asked for too many days. And you make accusations that are unfounded here. Tripadvisor should not accept this to be posted here, since we can prove that you did not pay for your reservation and still think you are right.

Excellent Stay, Great Hostel, Very Friendly Staff

Really nice staff, great house and layout. They were very helpful to find things to do, how to get places, and were very accommodating. Clean linens and great breakfast in the morning, walking distance to the centro. Will definitely look to return here.

Café da Manhã e sem frigobar no quarto deixou a desejar

Entendi que o perfil da pousada é uma acomodação diferenciada. Como o próprio nome sugere, tudo pensado em minimizar o impactos ambientais. Mas o café da manhã e ausência de um frigobar no quarto, deixaram muito a desejar! Muito diferente do exposto nas imagens de divulgação.
Eu senti sede durante a madrugada e precisei sair do quarto para buscar água no andar debaixo.
Outra questão que incomodou foi a quantidade de formigas por todos os cantos. Mesmo sendo uma época de calor intenso, não estava normal.

Olá Karla, sim somos uma pousada ecológica e por isso temos uma cozinha para nossas 7 suites, uma cozinha completa. Já temos frigobar em todas as suites. Mas temos tambem uma bela geladeira e freezer onde cada quarto usa um andar dela se precisar. Nosso café da manhã é muito elogiado e serve mixto quente feito na hora, pao na chapa, ovos mexidos, tapiocas, pao de queijo, frutas, suco natural, bolo fresco, bebidas, doces, e todos pegam a vontade. Nas imagens de divulgação ainda nao serviamos tudo isso! Voce sentiu sede e foi buscar agua, mas porque temos AGUA A VONTADE! Quantas pousadas oferecem AGUA A VONTADE?
Sobre formigas, se tivesse nos apontado teriamos visto e buscado resolver, como sempre fazemos.

Muito bom!

Bem gostoso, nos sentimos em uma casa muito agradável. Adoramos a horta, a cozinha fora onde podemos usar para cozinhar algo rápido, o quarto limpo e claro e as questões ecológicas.
O café da manhã ainda não estava muito bem planejado durante o Covid em Agosto, tínhamos que pedir toda hora alguma coisa, parecia que estávamos incomodando. Ficamos em outra pousada que nos deu uma lista para escolher e trouxeram tudo à mesa de uma vez só. Achei melhor desta forma. E a variedade poderia ser maior.
O chuveiro variava bastante a temperatura, não conseguimos acertar isso, mas também não estragou a hospedagem.
Ficaríamos em outra pousada mais perto do centro, mas se você busca bastante tranquilidade e não liga em pegar o carro para chegar ao centrinho histórico, é uma boa escolha. Preço muito bom, ambiente muito bem decorado e bonito jardim.

Obrigado! Sim sobre o café da manhã, em agosto estavamos nos ajustando para o COVID. Mas temos uma lista que fica visivel, as pessoas escolhem e levamos, e todos podem repetir. Sobre o chuveiro, tem o aviso de como ele funciona dentro do box, ele é solar, por isso precisa abrir primeiro apenas a torneira quente, como está explicado. Obrigado pelos elogios e serão sempre bem vindos.
