We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Don't forget that long weekends get booked out quickly and the next one in June isn't far away. Oh yes, and Anzac Day is just around the corner after Easter!! My, my, how time flies :)

"fantastic"!! We certainly aim to please which is why I respond to all my reviews good or not so good. I feel it is important to address ANY issues and this is the place guests can voice anything they didn't like - although of course it would be more appropriate to actually voice any issues with us so we can amend them.
Anyway, we are glad we "hit the spot" for you. We'd love to welcome you back soon with a reduced rate for repeat guests booking direct.

I am glad you enjoyed your short break away but I'm sorry if you found it "expensive for what you got"!! Firstly, staying anywhere in this area IS very expensive and I can quote at least 2 other B&Bs of our quality in this area who charge a lot more than we do. And there is a small surcharge for 1 night stays due to the extra cost of laundry and cleaning. And our repeat guests always get a discounted rate too.
To begin with, you get a lot more than you would get if you stayed in a cottage. You would've been offered afternoon tea on arrival, you also got QUALITY chocolates and port in the evening, plus you also had your towels dried off every time you used them and you also got a large a la carte breakfast cooked to order that would normally cost you at least $30pp in a café.
Privacy is supremely important tp us and you certainly get it here. Even if we do have other guests in (and we only cater for 1 other couple) you are quite likely to never see or meet them. Again, not something you usually find in a B&B.
We are very popular with teachers as our B&B does not take children and that is priceless in itself ;)
The room has a large flatscreen TV/DVD player you could choose DVDs free from our library. We also have FREE WiFi. We provide a choice of various teas and coffees including a coffee plunger in your room along with chilled rainwater for drinking. The huge double rainwater shower is a big hit too along with a choice of lovely body wash solutions to choose from.
So, I am not really sure what other extras we could have provided to make you think you got your moneys worth!! Please enlighten me and I will adjust our benefits accordingly.
