A scandal to offer such a motel to customers who have already paid on booking.com

Scandalous: no reception. We had to take another motel when we had already paid
Liked · We arrived on the Easter holiday and there was no reception. We had to call and the individual who answered informed us that the room scheduled for one night only and paid in advance was not available until 2 pm. Motels in Australia do everything to free rooms and apartments as soon as the guest arrives in the morning, as he often just drove hours away which was our case. We were in another motel not much more expensive but that welcomed us right away. I then chatted on the booking.com website with the manager of the Gladstone Capricorn apartments who dared to say that they were overbooked the day before and that the cleaning was not done yet. In fact it was a holiday Easter weekend and neither the cleaning staff nor he worked. The height is the total absence of reception. BOOKING.COM NEEDS TO REMOVE THIS MOTEL FROM THE LIST TO PREVENT ITS LOYAL GUESTS FROM BEING MISLED ABOUT ITS QUALITY BECAUSE THE STRUCTURE IS REBARBATIVE AND OUTDATED AND IT IS NOT AT ALL ENGAGING ...
Disliked · Everything: no reception during the Easter weekend and unable to get back into the room for one night before 2pm, according to the manager's unsympathetic response to the call .. when we had driven several hours to reach Gladstone. We had to take a room in another motel nearby that gave us access to our room right away: it was 10 am. SO WE DID NOT OCCUPY THE PREPAID ROOM 3 DAYS BEFORE THE GLADSTONE CAPRICORN APARTMENTS. WHO WANTS TO KNOW NOTHING FOR A ONE-NIGHT REFUND .. A REAL FINANCIAL HOSTAGE-TAKING ... FROM THE OUTSIDE THIS MOTEL IS EXTREMELY ANTIQUATED AND DOES NOT PROVOKE ANY WILLINGNESS TO STAY THERE GIVEN ITS STATE OF DECAY

Staff amenities they committed fraudulent behaviour kicking us out before time and lying about us stealing to keep our money

Managers are ignorant and service is poor. Communication between management doesn't seem to happen..

You can do better for the price

This place is grotty. The outside is not maintained at all. The room I had was clean, but I was with colleagues and their rooms were dirty. Wifi didn’t work. Rang to ask about it. No help. Seedy place, noisy with FIFOs, just awful. We asked to be moved by our employer as the place was not good enough for two week stay. Definitely not a family place if you’re travelling. Really run down. Came out to go to work each day to empty beer bottles, cigarette butts and jumble of chairs outside my door.
