Beautiful place

Wow, this place is amazing. Barbara welcomes you. The cabins have amazing views, are very clean and comfortable, have 2 brms downstairs, and 1 bedroom upstairs kitchen has everything you need, spacious bathrooms, and beds are very comfortable the place is a hidden gem. Had an amazing and relaxing holiday you can sit on the verandah and watch the cows and sheep the town is a 5 Min drive away

Highly recommended

Idyllic rural retreat just 3 minutes out of Augusta. A bunch of spacious cabins with the larger ones sleeping 14 people. Great views across the valley with kangaroos mixing with the beef cattle. The interior of the cabins is dated but very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Very quiet and private with very reasonable tariffs, far superior to any other accommodation in Augusta. The only minor issues were no internet which is probably a blessing for some and there was no washing powder for the washing .

The Sheoak Chalets

A group of 12 friends had an enjoyable stay at the Sheoak Chalets for 2 nights playing games, having cooked meals & singing. Natalie was a great host and went beyond the extra mile to assist us and make us feel welcomed. Thankyou Natalie.

Rural bliss

Loved our stay, and just wish it could have been longer. A lovely welcome from the hosts with a lit fire on a cool winter afternoon. Simple and roomy chalet, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you need. The kids loved the beds in the loft. The location is just gorgeous. Beautiful views out over the paddocks and the sea in the distance. Idyllic rural setting, but just a few minutes into town. And fantastic seafood shed nearby for local fish and abalone.

Great country style accommodation

Positives:
1. Location - a short drive from the main street of Augusta, in the Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park, with beautiful view of the hills. 2. Very spacious, rustic, but well maintained - separate kitchen, living area, bathroom (shower, wasching machine), toilet, two bedrooms downstairs and the loft, as the 3rd bedroom with a mattress on the floor, accessed via a ladder. 3. Fully equipped kitchen. 4. Wood fire heater. 5. Free WiFi. 6. Outdoor patio with BBQ.
Negatives:
1. Dated furniture, walls showing a little wear and tear. 2. No A/C - only a small, old style standing fan in the bedroom (more relevant for summer stays). 3. Old style window in the toilet, not completely sealed - making the trip to the toilet, a little cold and uncomfortable.
