Always happy to return!!
Very nice and friendly staff. My booking even included free charging for my electric car in the underground garage.
Breakfast buffet was okay, the egg dishes and the avocado toast were a hit!!!!!
Cozy room under the roof. Slept with the window open at night. It was absolutely quiet.
All in all: Always happy to return!! The Waldhotel will be our go-to hotel in Stuttgart.

One of the nicest of hotels but the room couldn't have been smaller
I really liked this hotel. The service and the people were very helpful. The restaurant served delicious food and put on a very good breakfast spread. There was a parking garage. The area is quiet. It is convenient provided you don't mind walking for some 30 minutes to the metro station. From there it is an easy and inexpensive ride into the center of Stuttgart, where you frankly don't want to use a car. The bed was comfortable and the room very well designed, but after three nights I needed some space to stretch in.

Pretty average for the price.
We booked a superior room months ago directly with the hotel. We were somewhat disappointed to be given a room on the lower ground floor next to a service room where there were outlets from the bar or kitchen or air-conditioning units, difficult to know which especially as the aircon in the room wasn't actually delivering cold air despite the fan running. The room was too warm at night for the huge duvets on the bed and we couldn't open the window because of the noise from the service room so we slept very badly. We reserved a space in the garage and we were pleased we had as there are limited spaces outside. The breakfast was excellent with food cooked to order and a buffet with a wide selection of quality food on offer. Coffees etc are served at the table. Staff are extremely professional and friendly. The prices in Restaurant Finch are somewhat high. The most expensive we encounter in a week in Germany, €55.00 for 3 courses, €7.80 for 50cl of water, €15.00 for 20cl wine - really! Dressed up as fine dining the food was pretty poor as well. Overall our stay was disappointing.

A high-quality equipped, quiet, and highly relaxing hotel with exceptionally friendly staff.
Absolute recommendation in Stuttgart - even though it is somewhat decentralized (about 20-30 minutes to the main train station by public transport). Outstanding friendliness of the highly dedicated and flexible staff, in all areas without exception. Clean, quiet, high-quality. Great wellness area with hours that can be flexibly extended upon request. Well-equipped rooms with everything one needs (including. coffee maker, tea varieties, safe, etc.). Surroundings (forest) are very relaxing. Rooms with a view of the forest are quite surprising in Stuttgart. Breakfast is worth experiencing, diverse - and for those who find the "normal" offerings insufficient, one can order extremely delicious items like pancakes, fried eggs, yogurt specialties, and much more. The ambiance is relaxing to the highest degree. Prices are indeed challenging, but it is worth every dollar.

The junior suite was a stunning room, well worth the price of an upgrade. The free drink voucher on arrival was a nice touch.
