Absolutely unsanitary and shocking experience

I had booked a room in advance and was shocked when I arrived: The mattress was clearly stained with blood – it was not possible to tell whether it was menstrual blood or other body fluids. This is absolutely disgusting and a serious breach of basic hygiene standards.
Despite the obvious condition, I was not offered an appropriate solution. This must never happen in a hotel – especially when guests pay for clean and safe accommodation.
I have documented the incident with photos and videos and will report it to the appropriate authorities.
Never again – this hotel is not recommended!

Lady at the front desks was really kind and helpful, The hotel is old and you can hear all the noice from out side. The neighborhood is not very nice, but it downtown. Close to public tranportation and easy to move.

There were stains on the carpet and the curtains were broken. The door of the shower room is rattled, and the water leaks outside without being completely sealed. The tram runs outside, so I woke up by the sound of the train early in the morning. The key is not a key card, but you need to close the door by yourself. The quality varies depending on the room.
The only good things are that the hotel staff were kind, the toilet and bed were clean, and the hot water come out well.

The hotel was very run down. Noisy and did not appear clean. That would be ok if price was reasonable but even after Danish standards very expensive. I know rhis was during tradeshow days but still ….
