Well located and equipped hostel with very friendly/helpful staff

Stayed in spacious four-bed dorm with large locker with two shelves and large space with clothing rail to hang coats and put bag/suitcase. Key entry to room and need padlock for locker. Bed had charging plug, light and bedside table.
Reception/staff very helpful and informative - especially Marta. Seemed genuinely interested in your day and provided a wealth of recommendations/information for making the most of your stay in Trieste.
Have a communal kitchen where breakfast is served, which is a good place to meet people. Breakfast is included with toast, conserves, ham, cheese, cereal, yoghurt and biscuits.
Showers and toilets are separate but close to the room. Male bathroom has three cubicles – shower/toilet, shower only and toilet only. Two communal basins. Soap included, but not body wash.
Have a large communal area, tables with plug sockets plus sofas and a small bar.
Located in square near restaurants and opposite boat port for Muggia. Around a 20-minute walk from the train station.
One thing to note is the hostel is up quite a few flights of stairs and there is no lift available.
Would stay again.

Quite artistic hostel. The owner knows well how to make life beautiful. Worth the price. And location is great. Easy to find nice restaurants nearby. Very trendy neighborhood.

Amazing place to stay in Trieste

This hostel is amazing. We stayed there for two nights and had a wonderful time. It’s very close to lots of bars and restaurants and you can see the harbor out of some of the rooms. The kitchen facilities are spacious and very clean. And the included breakfast was great. All of the people staying at the hostel were wonderful. Trieste is a great city and this is a great place to stay. The hostel was also very close to public transit (bus) stops so it’s easy to get around if you want to venture out.
Definitely note that there is no lift and the hostel is a couple floors up, so pack light! The hostel was also pretty hot and humid, I think they could benefit from some fans. However, I understand that Trieste is a very hot and humid city in the dinner.
Marta, who works reception, is so kind and helpful!

excellent hostel stay in Trieste…if you can get a bed!

4.5⭐️ Marta was awesome!! This is a very nice hostel on the 3rd floor of an old building right along the port boardwalk. Big common area, full kitchen, and breakfast included, but prepared to hike up some steps! Very prime location, especially if you are interested in taking the ferry to Muggia for a beach day (the departure point is a 3 minute walk from the hostel). The 12-bed mixed dormitory is the way to go because it has many windows and is a very spacious sleeping room. However, if a summer storm rolls in, the staff will have to shutter all of the windows and there is no AC, so it can get very warm at night. Definitely pack ear plugs and an eye mask because the city wakes up around 7am which is very audible when the windows are open.

Good hostel

Very nice, large rooms, well organized and clean. The bathrooms are also clean. friendly and helpful staff. Buffet breakfast, with different sweet and savory options. even if the kitchen is a little too small and being a group we had to take turns.
However, they were kind enough to bring forward the breakfast time for us.
Fairly central location.
