Oasis hotel: Great stay, fantastic service & a few laughs!

Me and my two friends stayed at the Oasis Hotel for five nights, and we had a wonderful stay. The staff were so helpful, friendly and accommodating throughout our trip.
There is a very steep hill leading up to the hotel, which our minibus transfer couldn’t drive up — only cars, mopeds and quads can manage it. Because of this, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel if you have mobility issues or are disabled, as getting up and down the hill could be difficult. However, if you’re physically able, it’s a great hotel.
Taxis were more than often available, and we only had a couple of occasions where we struggled to find one. However, if George was available, he was always more than happy to give us a lift into Nidri town! It’s around a 5–7 minute drive into town, or a solid 25–30 minute walk.
There’s also a cute little beach close to the hotel. It is very small and doesn’t have sun loungers or many facilities, so it’s probably not ideal if you like a more comfortable beach experience, but it’s lovely for a quick dip.
One of the biggest bonuses for us was being able to swim in the pool at any time of day or night! I’ve never been able to swim in a hotel pool at night before, so this was such a cool experience. It’s especially nice because it stays so hot even at night, making the pool the perfect way to cool down.
Our room was absolutely fine and we had no complaints. We did have a funny experience when our friend’s single bed was accidentally removed by the cleaners, only for it to be replaced with an even smaller single bed! We found the whole situation hilarious and it definitely gave us something to laugh about.
It’s a classic three-star hotel, but the service from the staff really made the stay. There is poolside service for both drinks and food, which was a great bonus. Sofia in particular was absolutely lovely and really made us feel welcome and safe. She would always stop to chat with us whenever she saw us, and she genuinely made our stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again. If I came back in the future, though, I would definitely have a moped to make getting around much easier!

Wonderful stay..

My wife and myself stayed in this wonderful hotel for 21 nights. It is fantastic. Family run small hotel that is clean and comfortable and so friendly you feel like one of the family. The staff are incredible as are the views. A car would be useful but taxis are readily available. We loved it and would highly recommend this hotel.

Petite Maison Hotel

Due to a late booking options were limited yet this place had good reviews and on the strength of that we booked and wasn’t disappointed.
I spoke via WhatsApp with George and got advice on car rentals etc. The best thing of this place is the staff, George. Anne-Maria and Sofia couldn’t do enough for you. Very helpful. Each morning saying “morning Paul, how was you boat trip yesterday?” These interactions were priceless.
The hotel is 100m off the main road and is quiet. It’s spotlessly clean. Elderly couples and families there. Pool was a great way to cool off. Most mornings I walked to the beach just 50m down the road for a morning swim. Most times you had it to yourself, with swing and shade.

Excellent hotel; lovely island

What a lovely family run hotel. So welcoming and very friendly helpful staff. George, the owner ,even drove us to a local restaurant one evening and helped us out when we needed a taxi back from local beach.
Sophia is an absolute gem; friendly, kind and funny. She was such good company and full of recommendations.
Maria was also lovely and welcoming on the morning shift. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them.
Very relaxed and calm, no hassle to get a sunbed; snacks available all day.
We loved the barn swallows sweeping over the pool in the evenings and the view was amazing.
Our room was superb ; spotless and everything we needed. Air conditioning was lovely …..
Good location for Nidri and restaurants. We used buses and taxis to get to main beaches but there is a lovely little local beach.
Very very steep slope up from road to hotel which was a problem for us so we had to use taxis but if you are fit and able not so much of an issue.
We were sad to say goodbye today as staff made it such a lovely holiday experience for us ; thank you.

A lovely hotel!

Just returned from a lovely week staying at Oasis. A lovely chilled atmosphere, with very friendly and helpful staff , nothing too much trouble. A special thanks to George, who assisted with travel plans, and calling taxis for us! Also, Sophia who was very engaging and friendly, a lovely lady. The hotel is away from the main town, but once you get your head round the buses, or in fact taxis, as they are very reasonable, then planning a day out becomes easy to do. We loved our stay on beautiful Lefkada!!
