Great stay with excellent service and location

We had a really pleasant stay at Danista Nomads. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They genuinely made an effort to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
The location was also excellent. The Gandan Monastery is just nearby, and many other interesting sights and attractions are within walking distance. It was very convenient for exploring the area without having to travel far.
The combination of the excellent location, friendly service, and great price-quality ratio makes Danista Nomads a place we would definitely recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay!

Affordable hostel with good staff

What I liked:
・Single with shower is reasonably priced.
・The staff was kind and responsive and got me a bus ticket (to Harakhorin).
· Day tour ($25) including Terelj Park and Genghis Khan statue is cheap.
· There are also proper common spaces.
· Convenience store (ATM available) within a few minutes walk and many restaurants nearby.
· Transportation from the airport ($30) was neat.
Something bad.
· Rooms are small and toilets are small.
· The room was hot, but the installation fan was hardly windy.
· Shower room is slippery and dangerous.
· Toilet gets wet when using shower.
· Stair steps are uneven and dangerous.
· Breakfast is super humble.

Typical and affordable

Small Hostel with unbeatable value for money. The hosts are very nice and try a lot. My single room with bathroom was sufficiently clean and equipped. Breakfast is simple but included in the price and sufficient. For 1-3 nights great! The Hostel also offers excursions and airport shuttle service.

Good budget accommodation

The staff is very kind, considerate and polite, as they have good advice for your trip, and stayed up late, as well as woke up early for visitors. They are very helpful regarding the wifi connection and our early breakfast request.
Hot water are provided.
Rooms are clean, quiet and well-furnished. They offered us extra blanket when the heating in the whole country has stopped. The only problem is that the warm water from tap is yellowish when I first open. But then it become normal when after a few minutes.
It is 15mins walk from State Department store, 30mins walk from city center (the Square).
Overall, it is a very great budget accommodation.

Nice stay in Ulaanbaatar

Stayed in the dorm room for 2 nights in the beginning of my trip, and 4 nights in single room in the end, both rooms are clean with comfortable bed, good wifi. Before I going back to UB, there was some misunderstanding in email, but the staffs are all very helpful and friendly, especially the night shift guy helped me to booked the very late night taxi to the airport and even gave me some snacks before I left. The location is quite good, in a quiet lane but just few minutes away from Peace Avenue. Will stay here again if I go back to Mongolia.
