Amazing stay !
Special mention to Anastasia in the breakfast that welcomed us to breakfast every morning with a big smile and positive energy.
She was genuinely someone we were looking forward to seeing and talking to each morning.
As well Elena from the Spa whose service is exceptional as well we had a genuine connection and conversation.
Lastly Alfred who helped us to our room with the biggest smile!
I highly recommend staying at Contessina Hotel if you travel to Zakynthos!

Fantastic stay!
We were staying on a B&B basis. We tried the al la carte restaurant one morning for breakfast which was lovely with great options on the menu and with table service. We then tried the buffet restaurant which we found suited us better. A lot to choose from and having a 6 year old with us was perfect for him because they had a separate buffet area for children which was at their level and with a lovely choice of food.
Our only gripe, and it's not a big one, was that it could be difficult to get beds by the pool. Having a little 'un with us meant we liked to be quite close to the pool to keep an eye on him and, although they ask you not to reserve beds, I found that I needed to be down there quite early to try and get a bed near the front. One morning, although I had already been down there for at least an hour and a half, I went to breakfast for half an hour and came back and they had taken all my stuff from round the pool and put them in reception so be aware this may happen.
Other than that small thing, we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend the hotel for anyone considering booking there.
