I have gluten intolerance and did not hesitate to make me some excellent toast for my breakfast.

The hotel as charming as its employees. All impeccable and tidy. The room of 10 and excellent breakfast.

Hotel María Cristina vacation -Peñiscola

I was with my mother at this hotel, the location was fabulous, the room was great, the cleanliness was very good, and the friendliness of the staff who work there was also very good.
The only bad thing was the arrogance of the hotel owners' son.
We wanted to watch the World Cup soccer match in the hotel's air-conditioned lounge. Days before, we asked if it was possible to reserve and have dinner. They told us that reservations could not be made and that it was only for drinks, that it was first come, first served.
My mother and I went an hour early to grab a spot and ensure we had a place, and we found half the lounge reserved. When asking the waiters for explanations, they told me they didn't understand it since reservations are not allowed. A kid approaches me telling me that he is the son of the hotel owners and that they have reserved that area for him, his family, and friends, and that if he feels like it, he can even have dinner there.
They told my mother, an octogenarian lady with a disability, to get up.
It is not understandable that there are parts of the hotel that cannot be used for this reason. Nor is it admissible that a kid addresses hotel guests with so little respect and is so arrogant and overbearing.
Everything had been fine at the hotel until this moment.
No one apologized for the altercation.
If reservations cannot be made for guests, then neither can they for the owners' son. As a guest, I am paying to be able to enjoy the hotel's facilities at least as much as the owners' son, since he is surely not paying to do so.
Another family that was there before us told us that they put the reserved sign in front of them and also made them get up; they were also very angry.
A shame during a very good vacation at this hotel.

Very poor quality food

We stayed last year around this time and the hotel loved it but this year we are back and we have been very disappointed. The free buffet without variety, cold and of terrible quality both at breakfast and dinner, I have never been in a buffet going around without knowing what to catch because it did not catch my attention. We will not rebook at this hotel. Tiny rooms.

Hotel 4* but 3 minimum.

Paper-walled rooms where you can hear your neighbor yawning and delighting in his incessant alarm clock while showering.
Towels with remains........
The shower drain stuck causing the water to reach the hallway.
Garbage bag inside the closet.

Very good hotel!

Nice hotel well renovated on a human scale! Quiet and just the road to cross to go to the beach! Tasteful decoration! Welcome and in French! rich and varied buffet. We accepted the location close to the old town and restaurants
