O'Driscoll's in Glin: Perfect spot in all ways!

We travel frequently, worldwide, and O'Driscoll's is on the top of our list! Recently, we stayed there for our third time: warm and accommodating host, very comfortable rooms, large bathroom & shower, and right in the middle of the lovely old Irish town of Glin! Plenty to do there--we stayed 2 nights, as soon as we landed at Shannon Airport, a short drive away. This is an A+ place!

Comfortable, welcoming and great breakfast

I look forward to staying here again.
The welcome was warm.
The room was lovely, comfortable, clean and well appointed.
Bathroom was great.
Breakfasts were a treat with plenty to select from and freshly cooked to order.
I stayed in a room with a double bed and ensuite and it was perfect.
Great walking trails around Glin.
Beautiful coastal village.

A gem on the Shannon

O'Driscoll's B&B is everything it claims to be. Estelle O'Driscoll is a gracious and welcoming host. We were in Glin to see the village from which my wife's great-great grandmother Frances "Fannie" Walshe emigrated to America in 1852. Estelle helped point us in the right direction to learn about Glin and to glean information about the emigrant. Even without the ancestral connection, Glin is a fascinating village. It has an incredible history. Knights. Castles. Sieges. The Great Hunger.
The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was first class. Wonderful shower. Although the B&B sits on Main Street, it was quiet and peaceful. Breakfasts were delicious. My wife: "I don't know if I've ever stayed in a place where everything was so perfect."

Everything a good B&B should be!

A great B&B. Centrally located in the town with ample parking. The room was bright and airy with a comfortable bed and brilliant shower. Estelle was friendly and helpful - and can cook a lovely Irish breakfast! Highly recommended.

A most enjoyable stay!

A lovely B and B, one of the best I have ever stayed in. The shower is incredible! The beds are most comfortable. Estelle is a great hostess and gave us some wonderful advice in terms of what to see. The surrounding area is beautiful and well worth exploring. We had a grand time at the local pub and a wonderful night's sleep afterward. Breakfast was delicious and the dining room is charming as is the beautiful solarium. All in all a most enjoyable stay and one I would highly recommend.
