A view you will never forget
The highlight is undoubtedly the view
Waking up to the Taj Mahal from your room and enjoying it from your private balcony is a truly special experience and one of the things that gives this hotel its charm. I also loved the traditional dance performance in the afternoon with the Taj Mahal as a backdrop. It creates a beautiful atmosphere and makes the experience even more unique.
The room itself is comfortable and pleasant. My only criticism would be the bathroom, which felt quite small and narrow compared to what I expected. Other than that, the room was perfectly fine.
The service deserves special recognition. The team is attentive, responsive, and genuinely cares about guest satisfaction. During dinner, some dishes were a bit too heavy for my taste, but after explaining my preferences to the chef, he kindly prepared something fresher and lighter. I truly appreciated that flexibility and attention to detail.
I also had a wonderful experience with the guide arranged by the hotel, and my driver was excellent throughout my stay.
Another thoughtful touch is how well the hotel takes care of guests visiting the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Early in the morning, coffee, fruits, and light refreshments are already available in the lounge, which is very convenient before heading out.
Overall, this is a hotel I will remember for its breathtaking views, its special atmosphere, and the warmth and professionalism of its team.

A Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Service and Views of the Taj Mahal
The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and impeccable service. The housekeeping was outstanding, and our beautiful room was comfortable, elegant and wonderfully appointed. Of course, the highlight was the spectacular view of the Taj Mahal from the hotel and our room — absolutely unforgettable.
We particularly appreciated the complimentary high tea, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious, making it a very special part of our stay.
The hotel also arranged an excellent guide for our three days of sightseeing. He was knowledgeable, friendly and made exploring Agra and the surrounding sights both enjoyable and effortless.
Overall, the Oberoi Amarvilas exceeded our expectations. The combination of beautiful surroundings, superb hospitality, wonderful food and that incredible Taj Mahal view made our stay truly memorable. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Agra.
