Nice inn with cozy charm

Room small but clean and nice.
Staff super nice and friendly.
If something is missing at breakfast , it is immediately replenished.
Mattresses a bit soft but still good.
Unfortunately, our bathroom was a bit small but still practical.
The taps in the bathroom a bit old ,but sufficient for daily use.
All short distances.
In the inn delicious food ,freshly prepared .
We felt comfortable and would love to come back.
The stay of 8 nights was good .
Boss great ,room fairy also totally top

Okay hotel quite near railroad though

The rooms, breakfast and hygene are okay. Regretfully there is a railroad running quite near the hotel. This causes some noise which can be a nuisance. Breakfast, staff and personall are helpful and friendly.

Glückstreffer

Man fährt übers norddeutsche Land, braucht auf die Schnelle eine Bleibe, weil die beste aller Begleiterinnen im Urlaub leider überraschend ins Krankenhaus musste und landet einen echten Glückstreffer: Koll‘s Gasthof in Weddingstedt!
Die Wirtsleute: freundlich, zugewandt, hilfsbereit, herzlich.
Die Zimmer: hell, modern, sauber, sehr ansprechend eingerichtet.
Das Frühstück: reichhaltig und frisch. BTW: An anderer Stelle wird hier die Bedienung der Theke als „nervig“ beschrieben. Gut, es mag durchaus sein, dass der eine oder andere Gast angetrockneten Käse und warme Wurstscheiben bevorzugt, weil sie möglicherweise häusliche Erinnerungen aufkommen lassen, ich für meinen Fall ziehe indes frische Produkte vor und drücke dafür auch gerne mal auf einen elektrischen Knopf.
Der Koch - mittlerweile längst leider auch nicht mehr Standard - scheint seine Tätigkeit tatsächlich noch als ehrbares und gut erlerntes Hand-Werk zu verstehen und ergo sich selbst nicht nur als Transporter von Convenience-Fertigteilen zwischen Gefrierschrank und Mikrowelle.
Wie sagte schon Paulchen Panther „ich komme wieder, keine Frage“ - und ich freue mich drauf!

Geht so

Gut: Frühstück reichhaltig, Zimmer sauber, Bad groß. Nicht so gut: Empfang: war nur zufällig abwesend, obwohl überall stand, das die Rezeption von nachmittags bis 22:00 besetzt ist. Ich kam um 17:30. Die Frau am Empfang konnte dann auch einige Fragen nicht richtig beantworten.
Nervig ist das Büffet. Da ist eine Plastikhaube die man immer elektrisch hoch und runterfahren muss.

Gasthaus mit nordischem Charme

Wir haben unseren Fahrradurlaub im Norden organisiert und Kolls Gasthaus als Ausgangs- und Zielpunkt gewählt. Zimmerausstattung gut aber schon etwas "in die Jahre" gekommen, Frühstück und Abendessen sehr gut, Inhaber freundlich und entgenekommend. Optimaler Standort für längere Fahrradtouren
