A lovely sleepy town on the Danube

A warm welcome awaits visitors to the Café Knebel-Hotel, which has comfortable and clean accommodation.
The breakfast bar is generously stocked and the coffee is excellent.
The church bells strike regularly but are comforting - and indeed traditional. Look out for the stork nests on top of the highest roofs.
Ich freue mich auf eine Rückkehr.

Convenient Location

Situated both in the central square and on the Danube Cycle Route. Plenty of good quality overnight, covered space for our bicycles.
Room was clean but a little dated. Large radiator in the room for drying off any wet clothes. It snows here in April.
Wifi worked well and we found the team running the hotel to be very helpful and friendly. English is spoken.

Preis Leistung stimmt

Wir sind hier sowohl im Hotel untergebracht, als auch haben wir das Kaffee besucht. Die Kuchen sind lecker, das Eis ist ok. Die Preis-Leistung stimmt, sowohl bei den Zimmern, als auch bei der Verpflegung.

Schöne Zimmer

Das Hotel hat schöne Zimmer und der Besitzer ist recht freundlich. Der ideale Ort für eine ruhige Übernachtung nach einer langen Radtour entlang der Donau. Das Preis Leistung Verhältnis ist ok. Gute und zentrale Lage.

Geniales Rüblieis

wieder mal war ein Kurzbesuch in Munderkingen dank des tollen Aufenthaltes im Cafe Knebel ein gelungenes Erlebnis. Ich war diesmal im Schokoladenzimmer untergebracht. Wie immer wurde ich freundlich empfangen, obwohl ich wegen einer Zugverspätung erst gegen 19:00 einchecken konnte, der Empfang aber nur bis 18:00 besetzt ist. Ein kurzer Anruf genügte und das freundliche Ehepaar wartete auf mich. Am Morgen genoss ich das reichhaltige Frühstück, welches auch diesmal keine Wünsche offen lies. Besonders die leckeren Brötchen hatten es mir angetan, die ich mit selbstgemachter Marmelade verspeiste.Ich verließ frohgelaunt das Hotel, um meine geschäftlichen Termine wahrzunehmen. dies waren am Nachmittag beendet, so dass ich bis zur Abfahrt meines Zuges die Köstlichkeiten des Cafes genießen konnte. Wegen der Hitze fragte ich nach einem Eis. Mir wurde das Rüblieis empfohlen und ich kann nur sagen, dass sich das gelohnt hat. Das Eis wird selbst hergestellt und hatte einen tollen Geschmack. Ich freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch in Munderkingen und werde erneut das Cafe Knebel buchen.
