Comfortable and friendly accommodation close to river and old town centre

Great place to stay if visiting Hallein or the surrounding countryside. It’s located just a few minutes walk from the river and old town centre. The hotel itself has comfortable, modernised and well equipped rooms and they serve a splendid breakfast. Plenty of free parking, and it’s easy to reach from the autobahn. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. There is a restaurant and bar on basement level, described as „mexican/ steak house“ which however we didn‘t try. All in all good value for money and we will definitely return.

Very simple and outdated hotel

Located at a busy intersection.
The reception is on the first floor, here you get the first impression of the hotel.
The rooms are very old, the walls partially damaged, doors dirty / bacon due to a lot of use.
The furniture is very old and partially damaged, the bathroom old and the shower has very little pressure.
The bed and pillows are good.
Since I had a room out back, it was quiet.
Breakfast room is newer, breakfast and coffee good.
For one night for transit you can use it.

old style - cosy

dignified, old house, charming Mexican restaurant in the house, although located in the center of the city, a 2-300 year old linde creates a cozy atmosphere in the guest garden (in which also still a large chestnut stands), the rooms are well maintained and have this pleasant patina old building, bicycle garage with e-bike charging facility, all good.

Lovely Austrian Hotel

the hotel is well situated near trains and busses and close to the shopping center of Hallein, with many restaurants nearby. The single room I had was well furnished and very clean. The buffet breakfast is superb. The staff, especially Georgia, are helpful and friendly and the hotel is very professionally run. My stay was for nearly 2 weeks and as a solo traveller, I was made to feel at home. Thank you to all.

Great base for visiting Salzburg and surrounding lakes and nature!

Great and cosy little place for good and quiet night rest after visiting Salzburg and lakes sight-seeing. Nice service, great breakfast, clean rooms, quiet area, but still in town centre, that's all you need!
