Dinner

My husband and I stopped at Peterborough on our way home from a camping holiday. We decided we would go out for Dinner as didn't feel like cooking. Went to the Railway Hotel and had the best Chicken Schnitzel I have ever had in my life. It was cooked to perfection with a great pepper sauce, with salad and chips. They were busy but still had time to come and tell us that our meals would be on the way. We didn't mind as we were just chilling out and relaxing. Service was amazing. Would definitely go back there. The portions were quite large but ate it anyway. Would love it if, some pubs could do a half schnitzel for those who don't want to eat a large meal but still enjoy what everyone else is eating, without wasting the food. Great job guys. Well done.

Pleasant pub dining

Went here for dinner on recommendation of a local.
Some gluten free items on the menu but not everything listed was available. No gluten free sauces available to go with the steak I had.
Prices for meals and drinks here are most reasonable. Friendly environment.

Room Service

Friendly greeting upon arrival. Motel Room was so spacious, complete with a table and chairs and a lounge chair.
We were surprised that we could order Room Service. We ordered their 2 Pizza deal for tea. They were delivered to our door, piping hot and they were delicious. Our hot breakfast was delivered to our door the next morning and on time!
The next night we ate in the dining room. The garlic bread was like rock, so give that a miss, but the steaks and veggies were really good. The chandeliers make a nice statement too.
Staff were obliging, friendly and eager to please.

Good play to stay and dine

Drove up to Peterborough from Adelaide to meet up with some old friends. Service was excellent; food was simple but cooked to my liking with a pale served on the table, preordered at no effort to staff. Motel unit was clean and neat. The staff were very friendly and cheerful.

Great Stopover

I was on my way back to WA from the Gold Coast and chose this hotel for a stopover and Im glad I did.I was made to feel very welcome from the moment I entered the bar to check in.
Accommodation first: Very nice and comfortable as well as being well priced.
Hotel: Very good friendly service from all staff and the 'Publican' (who's name escapes me,) was a very hospital fella and was just the ticket to have a beer and yarn with. Even the locals at the bar made you feel very welcome.
Meal: No complaints here...arrived promptly, great salad bar and well priced and also a very nice dining room.
The Railway Hotel ticks all the boxes and I highly recommend a stopover if travelling through.
