Good service and homemade food. Pao and eggs cakes prepared by them
In the afternoon a gentle Service of tea, accompanied by homemade biscuits and sweet pipocas

Good position and friendly staff
Disappointed with the breakfast. Not enough variety and not substantial enough to start you on your way for a full days trek. Also the noise from the early kitchen preparation for breakfast was annoying as it echoed around the chalet. The room was really dark and the whole chalet too hot.
Nice touch with tea and snacks in the afternoon. The lounge area was bright and airy with comfortable sofas.

A hostel with high category hotel prices
Negative points:
Tiny rooms. Bed with uncomfortable mattress. Wi fi stutters. Very poor cleaning, especially in the bathroom. Spartan breakfast served from 7.30am, definitely too late for a place where you come exclusively to go hiking in the mountains. Non-existent soundproofing You can hear everything the neighbors do and nothing is done to improve even when very little would be enough: for example, all the doors, without exception, creak in a disturbing way. The first one to get up in the morning wakes everyone up. We were also particularly unlucky in that, having the room on the reception/breakfast room/hall floor, we were delighted for three evenings by the chatter of a small group of rude people who found nothing better than squawking in the hotel to end the evening. Reprimanded, they continued, evidently with the approval of the managers present there.
Embarrassing quality/price ratio even for El Chalten.
I wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
